They taste good but I noticed that all the bags are expired I think it would be nice if they would send me bags that weren’t expired

These are good but I would caution those controlling their sodium intake.

On The Border tortilla chips have always been our favorite for chips & salsa, nachos, etc. I had no idea they also sold flavored tortilla chips, so I was excited to give these On The Border Taste of Tajín Clásico tortilla chips a try. The bags of chips arrive in a large box. Unlike the chips you typically see in the grocery store, these bags did not seem to have extra air in them to keep the bag puffed up. Because of this most of the chips in the bag I opened were broken up pretty badly. They taste great, though, and the combination of spicy flavor with lime gives them a very unique flavor. They are not what I would call “hot” spicy, so those who are sensitive to hot, spicy foods would probably like them as they are fairly mild in that regard. They would be great to serve at parties, with Mexican dinners, and with margaritas.Overall, these are very flavorful tortilla chips, and my wife and I really like them. They are a great alternative to the common name brand chips you see in the stores. The packaging is very disappointing, though, and I hope this was simply an aberration with the ones sent to me. The bags really need to be inflated with air better to keep the chips from getting broken in shipping.I try to write informative product reviews. These have a texture that's a lot like Doritos. The spice on these is indeed very mild and mostly I taste the lime. One thing I noticed almost immediately is it there's no MSG in these, so these taste more natural to me than Dorito's. They taste a lot like Tajin seasoning, so the seasoning is made up of some chili peppers, lime juice that's been dehydrated and concentrated,paprika, and sea salt.They have a good crunch in the salt level is just right.My son didn't care for them, although he thought he was going to like them at first, but he really does not like the strong lime flavor. I do think if you don't like lime flavored chips, you really should steer clear of these, because to me that's the most dominant flavor other than the corn.Personally I like them and think they're great with salsa. I don't like them alone nearly as much as some other chips, but they are good.The chip size is perfect to me. It's not too big and it's not too small. They're about the same size as Doritos.I recommend these if you're trying to avoid MSG and/or if you really like a lime-flavored, natural tastying chip, or Tajin seasoning.

These chips are fantastic. They can be eaten alone, with salsa or other dips, or in a taco bake (my favorite way to have them).When making a taco bake for my kids, I leave the chips out of the taco bake, and let them eat the chips (crunchy) with the taco bake, because they don't like the chips inside the taco bake (soggy).But when making the taco bake for myself, I put a layer of chips on the bottom of the pan, because I love the chips soggy. I love the texture of the soggy chips.I also love the texture of the crunchy chips. I can eat them right out of the bag, with or without salsa.Chips are my weakness.I told you my stories, but got away from the actual review of the chips. So let me tell you about these chips. The flavor is chili and lime. I love that flavor sooooo much. I love chili peppers. I love lime. These chips tastes so good. I love them.

These aren’t health food, so I’m not going to judge them on that, but you should consider that. As far as taste goes, we thought these were superior chips. The chips themselves are indeed on the “flaky” side, as stated, with a nice crunch, but not firm. Unlike an earlier reviewer, our box arrived with well-inflated bags and the chips were nearly all whole or nearly whole.Where these really stand out is flavor. These really are chili & lime, not just regular flavored tortilla chips with a marketing plan. If you are familiar with Trader Joe’s Chili & Lime spice, I would suggest that these are very similar to that. Both flavors come through strongly. Excellent with bean dip; the flavor comes through and compliments the beans.But that’s JustMe.

These chips are similar to Doritos but they have more of a spicy kick and a LOT more lime flavor. I personally don't love super spicy foods so these chips are just on the edge of what I enjoy. People who like moderate spice will probably really like these and those who can't get enough spice won't think these are "hot" enough, but may still enjoy them. The chili taste and lime especially stand out and the chips themselves are standard corn tortilla chips and are relatively fresh tasting.The chips are packaged in 8 bags that come in a box that's packaged in another box and believe it or not, the chips were not damaged at all in shipping so that's good news. I haven't tried the medium or hot chips but these are great for someone who just likes a little spice in their life and are nice for casual snacking.
