Extremely cheap. Probably $3-$5 of materials. Sharp edges on plastic. No product packaging -- arrives in a ziploc bag.The first one was missing the plastic board. Should probably have just let me keep the dish rag and pencil instead of trying to make me mail them back - they're worth less than the shipping, and the half hour to pack it up and drive it to UPS would cost me more than the product. It serves its purpose okay. The plastic sheet arrived with a scuff on it that's impossible to write on with the oil pencil, but otherwise it's alright. Pencil's already falling apart (I guess from the humidity in the shower.)If the product was about half the price it would get 3 stars for the convenience. At this price your better off buying the pieces separately and getting better of everything for less.

Nope...
They don't show the actual product for a reason. It's a cheap flimsy piece of plastic with no way of hanging it in the shower. (Unless you want to start drilling holes...)

Wow. This is great. I'm finally able to capture all of my thoughts during the only time of day they seem to come - in the shower. This works great. Thanks!

Not suited for shower use at all. Don't buy.
Did not stick to my shower walls at all so completely unusable. Also the pencil it comes with gets destroyed in the shower and splits into multiple pieces.

Do not buy!
The only reason I have it even one star is because it won't let me assign negative stars. What a cheap piece of junk.- A piece of clear plastic. No frame. Looks like a piece of scrap you'd discard from manufacturing an ACTUAL product.- Several $0.25 suction cup hooks. Presumably to hang it.- A $0.25 grease pencil.- A kitchen towel. Probably worth $3.99.I thought it was a prank when I opened it. I tossed the pencil and suction cups in a tool box. Tossed the towel in the laundry. Just tossed the plastic.

Genius idea... actually great for the kids too.
We've installed this on our shower -- and I think my toddler gets more use out of it than I do. I have jotted down some notes occasionally, but honestly, it's genius as a bath toy. What you'll get:- 1 plastic board (about letter size)- 5 suction cup hooks (4 for mounting board, 1 for hanging cloth)- 1 microfiber cloth- 1 oil pencilI installed the board with the suction cup hooks originally, two on the bottom, hanging "normally" -- and two on the top, "upside down" ...the board being able to slide in and out from the left/right. The microfiber cloth got hung nearby. Where'd I put the pencil? On top of the board. Or... it usually ends up on the shelf of our shower. We also discovered you don't always need the suction cups -- if you get the back of the board wet, and press it onto a smooth surface (like our "tile" insert for the shower), it will stay "stuck" up there until you peel it off. I actually found it easier to write on that way.Cleaning the board off? Easy, if you use the cloth. Your hand will not remove the markings, so don't worry about an errant wipe.Overall, this is a nice concept and my only suggestion for improvement would be to include some sort of directions for those needing it. I improvised and it worked without problem, but I could see the possibility for someone being confused with what to do when this product arrives.--Note: I received this product gratis in exchange for an honest evaluation. The opinions expressed are 100% my own.

I received the Shower Genius Idea Board to review and it is great for getting down that memo so you don't forget
Ideas usually come to mind at the most inopportune moments. As we are trying to fall asleep, in our dreams and of course, in the shower! I received the Shower Genius Idea Board to review and it is great for getting down that memo so you don't forget!I don't know about you but it seems like the minute I get into the shower, instead of relaxing under the warm water gently falling on my shoulders, my mind takes a left turn onto a race track and is instantly traveling at speeds only seen in a Star Trek episode.Sometimes my thoughts seem to scatter, jumping from the chores I need to do to the items I forgot to put on the shopping list to dates I need to remember. Other times it's like the planets align and the stars are in just the right place and I have coherent thoughts. An entire poem or song can come to me in those moments. One thing all the moments have in common is that as soon as I turn off the water, all those thoughts and words fall right out of my head and are gone faster than the water swirling down the drain. With this handy little memo board, I can get the tasks, lists and words down before they disappear. Afterwards, the memo board can slide sideways off the suction cup holders so I can transfer my notes to paper or computer. In addition to the board, the set includes the pencil, suction cups for hanging and the towel for wiping the board clean. The pencil works on the board wet or dry. When the end of the pencil wears down , there is a string you pull that exposes more tip. Just be careful and not pull the string too much! The suction cups will of course stick to surfaces like glass or tile. The suction cups have a sort of hook on them and I hung my board using those hooks to support the board. Once I had it where I wanted it, I turned the hooks sideways and the hold the board steady and in place. When I am ready to slide it out I simply rotate the hooks back out.Two things came to mind that would be helpful: a string on the top of the pencil to tie to the suction cups or a separate suction cup with a pencil grip instead of the hook like the others and the towel could use a little loop sewn in. Otherwise, I have not had any problems with the memo board. This can be used for many things. Making lists, getting thoughts down, doodling or even leaving loved ones messages to find when they step into the shower. Don't forget the things you meant to remember!
