Works as described.

I was building a 9 foot computer table/ desk top out of 2” walnut. Had glued up sections and even butt joined several pieces of wood; so the slab wasn’t smooth and flat. With 3” belt sander I went to work with 80 grit paper I had! No go. Burnt up cheap belts. Off to box stores and found prices were ridiculous. Ordered this package and used one 40/80and a 120 belt to resurface entire top. 3 coats of polyurethane and it looks great. Highly durable sanding belts- no gumming up; seemed to self clean. used 3 as I said, and have a lifetime of belts left. At the cost of 2 - 2packs at the box stores

Sanding with these is much easier when compared to the belts that came with the sander. These last much longer and seem of better quality compared to other ones I used. However, they are four star instead of five, because the tape that holds the belt together is not very strong and sometimes the belt edge catches a gap between the wood planks and disintegrates.

These fit my mini porter cable sander perfectly and last much longer than expected.

High quality, very coarse and long lasting. Fit perfectly. Will buy again.

Worked fine for my Porter Cable sander. Abrasives held up well on hardwood surfaces and did not clog.
