Cross Botanica Refillable Ballpoint Pen, Medium Ballpen, Includes Premium Gift Box - Green Daylily

I was enchanted when I saw this collection of Cross Botanica pens! They are all so beautiful and unique - playful yet delicately gorgeous - it was hard to pick just ONE. I opted for the Green Daylily fountain pen with a FINE nib. I just LOVE the twinkly gold accents that are 3-dimensional, and the finely-drawn flowers are almost Indian Moghul in style - exquisite.As others have pointed out ... the box looked kind of battered and old - as if it'd either been returned once already or sat on a shelf for years. Even so, it came to a loving home. A manual and 2 cartridges were hidden under the pre-formed pen holder in the box. The pen is thin - so those with larger, meatier hands may find it doesn't quite fit the hand. I have small, bony-fingered hands, so it's a perfect size.Be warned that the so-called FINE nib (and mine actually says it's fine) writes like a typical MEDIUM nib pen. The ink comes out thick, wet and BOLD. It will be great to put my signature on cards and letters with this pen. But it is NOT by any means a fine-nibbed pen that you would typically find. I bought a converter the better to fill my new Daylily pen with a gorgeous shade of Kelly green ink! It came with 2 cartridges that appear to be blue ink - bah! You can't put boring blue or black ink in such a feminine, colorful pen!I love it! I would be very tempted to buy at least ONE more of these Cross Botanica pens in a different pattern. It's a great price for a gorgeous pen, and with its so-called FINE nib, it writes really smooth altho BOLD.

I had my eye on this pen for a little while now because I loved the floral pattern, but was unsure if I really wanted to spend this much on a pen and then possibly be unhappy with it. After receiving it and using it for a few days, I have to say that it does not disappoint! Even as a ballpoint pen, it writes smoothly and the weight of the pen met my expectations in terms of there being a little heft to it but not to the point where it’s too heavy or light to the point where it seems like an average run of the mill pen. The floral etchings and details on the pen are absolutely beautiful. I would definitely recommend this pen.

I'm not sure which one is more gorgeous this one (Green Daylily), or the Botanica Golden Magnolia? But I can honestly say these pens are the most beautiful Pens Cross has ever released. They have carved indentations in them with shinny metal pieces. They are just too nice to write about, you have to see one up close. They come in Ballpoint Pen, Rollerball Pen and Fountain Pen. The Rollerball is Cross's answer to the Fountain Pen in America. The Rollerball writes like a Fountain Pen, but without the mess and the refilling. If you ever get a chance to go into a Cross Pen store, make sure you take a look at these. I can almost guarantee you you will buy one. All I can say is WOW :)

I have this pen in red and green and hope to get the purple version soon. I use the felt tip refills with it. It feels great, writes beautifully, looks gorgeous. I find that I am much more willing to write in my journal and work on my To Do list when I have a beautiful pen. I am always excited to use it. I highly recommend it. The price on Amazon is less than half than what I paid in a bookstore.

The pen was great, but the packaging was damaged. Unfortunately, the outside of the Cross pen gift box had been scotch taped to keep the inside Cross pen box together. I ordered two Cross pens and they were both scotch taped together. When removing the tape, it tore the skin of the Cross box. These pens were to be a gifts, but the torn box is unacceptable to give as a gift. The packaging is important. Very disappointed.

Classic Cross quality in a beautiful pen as a gift for a friend chosen for a new corporate executive role. Always in a nice box, and refillable, so a green approach.Best price I found among various sellers.

I saw this pen being discussed on Facebook and immediately wanted it. The Cross Botanica Daylily fountain pen is not only gorgeous but it writes beautifully. I purchased the ink converter, inked it and it started writing as soon as it touched the paper! I now have a new favorite pen. Cross is a wonderful producer of fountain pens and I highly recommend this pen. The barrel may be bumpy because of the design but it just gives me something to grip.

I had this pen delivered just some days as was advised by amazon. Truly this pen is designed to be noticed. I have used it for some few instances and every time I use it someone makes a positive comment about the pen. Obviously, they had noticed that this pen looks different and special. The writing is also so fine and that is why I love it very much. I recommend it to other junior executives out there who care about the smaller and finer details of the things that they use in their work.
