Rosti Margrethe 5-Litre Mixing Bowl, Red

I’ve used Rosti Margrethe bowls for years-purchased my first set 30 years ago when it was the brand Williams-Sonoma carried for melamine mixing bowls. I still have 2 items from that purchase in regular use; granted, the rubber grip bottoms are pretty dehydrated/cracked, but that’s pretty good for countless dishwashings. WS’s house brand melamine mixing bowls break at the 1st drop; Rosti are much more durable. I’m not easy on my bowls (as in I use them all the time), but these always look good enough to serve casually from (think outdoor dining). I’ve never picked up a stain, and all my bowls are white. As an FYI, the 5 L is a big bowl, bigger than you’d find in a set of 3. Definitely recommend.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST Mixing Bowls I have EVER owned... A family member 'borrowed' the only one I had - for 10 MONTHS ! Well, I finally got it back, and looked up the manufacturer and quickly ordered more. Had this bowl for over 10 years and it's nearly indestructible, NEVER wears out, has a fantastic rubber ring on the bottom that hold it in place while you're using it on the counter.. and SO happy they still make these things ! It's the small stuff, right? ha.. As far as I'm concerned, there are NO OTHER bowls. This is the one!

Hands-down the best bowl we’ve used. I love the rubber bottom that holds the ball in place. Wide opening deep will last another 20 years just like our last one that I dropped and shattered by accident. No hesitation. Bought another.

This bowl is amazing. It's huge and can handle my largest mixing needs - plus it doubles as a serving bowl. And it's relatively light for its size, so its easy to pour from while wielding a spatula in the other hand.

Great balls have four of them in different sizes two of them are very old probably 15 to 20 years old still in great shape

We've owned a set of these for 20 years, and I decided to add the largest of their bowls to the set. Very disappointed in the quality difference. The $40 bowl was much thinner than the older bowls we have. no different from the cheap, discount store sets.

Generous enough in size for any task and easy to clean-I love it.

Best bowls ever.

We first tried one of these bowls in a furnished apartment we were renting in Copenhagen. It was so perfect in size, practicality and good looks we knew we would get one as soon as we had our own home again. We have them in every size now and they stack so perfectly together. I bought lids for as many as I could. The high sides mean they are great for whisking. They stay put on the kitchen surface, are easy to clean, it is easy to pour from them. With the matching lids which I bought separately, they double as storage containers for the fridge.

Excellent quality and splash back lid very useful when making buttercream as stops icing sugar flying everywhere when using electric whisk. Highly recommend.

The shape, size and weight of this classic design is perfect. Excellent design, it just works.

Unfortunately thought I'd ordered 3.5L, so tried it once, much too big, so useless to me.
