Great substitute for Porcher Veneto toilet fill valve!
I have a forty year old Porcher Veneto toilet, for years now, parts were difficult to obtain and expensive. The current Grohe replacement valve was only available through international shipment, two weeks at best, so I checked this Geberit fill valve available next day as a possible alternative. It works better than the original! I had to cut the pipe at the bottom about an inch but otherwise it fit perfectly! Plus it's quieter.

Not like my original
I replaced my leaking fill valve (OEM which was 8 years old) with this new one. They are very different looking. Nevertheless - the new unit worked with no adjustments, though because it was shaped a bit differently, the new mounting clip did not work - or at least I couldn't see how it could. I ended up just setting it into the tank and zip-tied the fill hose in place to secure the unit from moving. All is well again.

Saved my 20 year old system
Geberit is not a brand sold or maintained in my area. I called the company to secure the right part number. With that number I ordered the part from Amazon. Luckily I followed Amazon's advice about an additional part that is often ordered with this part. Both parts, this fill part and an additional 'supply angle stop' were necessary to repair the slow filling toilet.

check the part numbers carefully
this is the 2nd of the flow valves thati've ordered. the first one was exactly right. this 2nd one has a different part number and looks a bit different; don't know if it will work on my WC tank

EZ Fix For Our Geberit Wall Toilet
Discovered toilet fill not shutting off every time (10 years after installing). There is usually one very small seal that wears out. I decided to replace the entire assembly. Believe it or not, these toilets are easier to repair than common floor mounted variety.
