Superb Sound Quality with Great Design and Bluetooth Convenience
The Edifier R1080BT speakers are an absolute delight for both music and movie lovers. The sound is rich, balanced, and surprisingly detailed for their size. The bass has enough punch without overpowering the mids or vocals, and the highs are crisp and clean. Stereo separation is excellent—it instantly elevates any desktop or room setup.Bluetooth connectivity is seamless and quick, making it easy to switch between my laptop and phone. The build quality feels premium, with a neat matte finish that blends well with any decor. Volume and input controls are thoughtfully placed for everyday use.Overall, these speakers deliver impressive performance for the price. Whether it’s gaming, casual music sessions, or watching shows, they handle everything beautifully. Highly recommended for anyone wanting clear, powerful audio in a compact form.

The best pair I have used !!
First of all don't go for negative reviews, they expect Bose speaker for rupees 1000. If you're interested to listen crystal clear detailed audio with proper bass, then you should buy it. Midrange is more clear than mackie speakers (3" model). You need to equalise it to get the maximum audio clarity. If you want it deep and extra bass then you should go with f and d or infinity speakers. I bought the speakers for 6150 rupees, and I think it's the best speaker under this category.

Great highs on a budget. Good for acoustic music.
I don't have experience with a lot of bookshelf or powered speakers and these are my first. I have listened a bit to Yamaha Studio Monitors (HS7 or its predecessor, but only once), a Sony 4.1, a cheap F&D A520u 2.1 and a JBL Xtreme bluetooth speaker. I do have some good headphones though (HD 660s, M50x, HD579) so I have an idea of what a good, full sound is. Understandably, a 4 inch woofer in a shared 12 watts per channel doesn't give any sub bass whatsoever, but there is just enough mid/high bass to not make male vocals sound anemic. It doesn't have the best slam but I would still prefer this than the JBL Xtreme (which has a lot of loose bass) for my electronic music listening. The volume is loud enough to fill my mid sized room (~12x15 feet) but every other speaker mentioned above has more & deeper bass than this (even though its loose & muddy in the 2.1/BT ones). Mids/Vocals sound quite clear & balanced and much better than any 2.1 or 5.1 systems. There is real stereo separation and a soundstage that is much bigger than a cheap 2.1 system (from the likes of sony and logitech). The tweeter seems to be the best part of this speaker and the highs are outstanding (for the price, of course) although its definitely not bright or fatiguing. This is the biggest difference between this and the other 2.1/4/1/BT speakers I mentioned. Those do not have a dedicated tweeter which makes a huge difference. Now I hear what I was missing out on. Hooked it up to my Bravia 55 inch 4k tv via the 3.5mm aux cable (standard setting with all effects turned off) and the vocals were really clear, bass was much better (than the tv, though not the best by any means) and the experience was engaging but the volume left quite a bit to be desired. So I believe people looking to replace soundbars with this should get this only if their room is small or the listening position is close to the speakers. These speakers are of course not as resolving as the bigger & more powerful monitors. They don't even come close to the Yamaha (as they shouldn't at this price). Much better resolution than the Jbl xtreme and the 2.1/4.1 systems though. There are no tone controls (Bass, Mids & treble adjustments) and everything goes through the inbuilt DSP which does a good job with older, unclear recordings. Bluetooth connection is straightforward and sounds almost identical to wired. These work best as PC speakers on a desk, don't take much space and sound great for the price. People hoping to use these as studio monitors, the sub-bass lovers & the purists need to look elsewhere. People thinking about buying a 2.1 system should definitely upgrade to this (or something like the 1850db which has a subwoofer out). The bottom line is that with all its flaws (lesser power, bass, resolution & volume than bigger monitors) this a fantastic speaker for the price and will particularly work really well with acoustic music. Perfect for someone like my Dad who listens to old bollywood music which has really poor production quality. For those who buy this, I'd recommend u try n place it a bit closer to the wall. The rear port is tiny which causes a little bit of rumble but that noticeably improves the bass quantity. The bass gets louder (not deeper) which to my ill-trained ears sounds more pleasant & of course this is for ppl aiming to listen casually & ymmv. I recently bought a JBL 104BT as well when it was on sale for the same price as this (6k INR). It's a much better speaker, 60 watts does it's job. It's not as relaxed sounding as this edifier (since it's a studio monitor) but fills the room much better, has better bass, clarity, detail, inputs, better BT connectivity. If anyone's confused between the 2 or could go with either, just get the JBL. Looks better as well lol.

A stain on Edifier name
Got this because the S1000DB was good. At half the price, this isn't even half as good. This level of quality you can get with any cheap local speakers.

For 2.0, it is excellent. Do not expect sub-bass.
Very satisfied. A 2.0, i.e a system without a sub-woofer cannot generate sub-bass (naturally). For the same reason, it generates much better bass, mid-range, & with a good tweeter, clear treble. And this is what 1080BT excels in. Add resounding sub-bass, & the rest go for a toss. Yes, some music do need more bass, which can be generated from the phone or computer's equalizer, as the Woofer can take some extra bass, quite well. Do not expect it to sound like hi-end active speakers.

Good sound but costly
The speakers are smaller in size. The sound is sweet balanced sound. There is no Bass and Treble adjustment, use App equalizer if needed. No distortion at high volume. Played all kind of music and everything sounds good. The best one are old hindi songs. No remote. Bluetooth connectivity is smooth. Aux cable provided in the box. I prefer to use it in bedroom. You can easily carry into different rooms. Build is good. However speakers are not covered. 1 star deducted for high cost. It comes with digital sound processing chip. That means it manipulate the sound. Though in most scenario, it sounds good to ears. BUT NOT FOR THOSE WHO ARE IN SOUND CREATION

Meu primeiro produto Edifier.

The Edifier speaker is beyond my expectations! I initially used it for my studio, and it sounds fantastic. It also works really well with my TV for films. Highly recommended!

Buenos altavoces de estantería para usuarios no sibaritas. La calidad de sonido es aceptable, tiene volumen suficiente y es fácil cambiar entre las distintas fuentes de audio. El bluetooth funciona a la primera. Recomendado.
