Corelle Vive 16-Piece Dinnerware Set, Dazzling White, Service for 4

I bought this for my 91 year old mother. Her stoneware dishes were getting to heavy. These are much lighter and safervforvhervtonuse.

I had a set of Corelle for years, but decided I needed a change of colors. I like the lightness and durability of Corelle.

These dishes were exactly what we wanted. Heat proof and break proof unless handled extremely rough. They match everything you need them for.

The experience in purchasing the Corelle Vive was flawless.When we expand our dinnerware, we will purchase this again, honestly!

I'd read reviews on the walmart site that mentioned warping but ignored them. After all, I've had my other Corelle plates for 20+ years and they look fine (though dated). However, one trip through the dishwasher told the tale. I checked the plates, stacked, for warping before running them in the dishwasher prior to their initial use, and detected no noticeable warping. After washing just once, I stacked them and noticed marked warping all around the rims, and it's not just the minor, slowly rising, sustained warp of my old pattern, which is only noticeable - barely - when they are stacked in the cabinet. The once flat edges of these Vive Dazzling White plates now display continuous, undulating waves, every two inches or so around the entire edge. Unlike my old pattern, this warping is very noticeable when the plates are set out individually. Maybe the warp is so noticeable because the plate is (initially) flat all along the outside instead of having the lightly bowled, curved design of traditional Corelle. As the plates now look cheap and tacky, I will be returning these for a refund. I have posted two photos of my warped plates. The photo of the stacked plates shows my old Corelle plates on the top and the Vive plates under them. As you can see, the warping is far more pronounced on the Vive Dazzling White design.
