I’ve recommended this book to everyone I know because it is that vital to your witchy library. Informative, beautifully written, the imagery is inspired, and the author sprinkles anecdotes about lore, history and culture, throughout that deepens your understanding of many topics, answering many questions, with out being pedantic. Some books seem to have an underlying egocentric homage from the author to themselves or a just a superficial parroting of the same information we have heard before - leaving much to be desired in terms of explanation - this is NOT that book. Finally, something that feels objective AND soulful!

This book has really forced me to slow down and take time to hone my craft. I haven’t taken time to really focus my ceremonial skills, but I’ve read through this book twice and it’s been exceptionally helpful. Anjou is such an informative witch and her words read easily and she makes learning so much fun.

I like this book. It's well laid out and beautifully photographed. It touches an just about all of the aspects of pagan life, at least on the exteriors. Not a lot of depth on anyone thing but if you were completely new to witchcraft, this would be a solid introduction to what many witches incorporate into their practice.I enjoyed the book for what it is but do think a serious student will need to go deeper into the history and internal life of pagan practice. As a start, it is decent.

An absolute must buy for beginners. This book is not only beautifully illustrated, but also exceptionally laid out and informative. I have many books on paganism and witchcraft and this one is one of the best I have purchased so far. It touches on many aspects that every pagan incorporates into their practice and I reccomend everyone to buy it.

This book really covers allot! I really enjoyed the Astrology portion as well as everything else. Anjou Kiernan is a talented writer and witch. Her vast knowledge and easy to follow steps make learning very enjoyable. I will be buying more of her books!

This is a beautiful book, and it gives a lot of information on many areas. It doesn’t go into a lot of detail, but enough to get you interested and able to practice some things before diving deeper. It gives more and better information than the average basics or introductory book.

Perfect book for baby witches! Very informational and easy to understand. Has rituals, spells, and the like. Highly recommend!

I am in love with this book. The information is so complete and the pictures are gorgeous. I actually got 2 of the same book to be able to take some of the pages to put in my BOS. Amazing!
