I was initially concerned when I received this, because both the brush and the vacuum hose had been curled to fit in the packaging. I didn't catch the reviews mentioning this, and some buyers suggest leaving it out in the sun for a few minutes to straighten it out, but it was a cool, cloudy day when I unpacked it, and I needed to go right to work on the coils under my fridge, not my favorite task. My daughter can attest to the excessive amount of dust and lint under the fridge when I started. Even with the bend in the attachment (which secured nicely to my Bissel Pet Eraser vacuum), I was able to remove most of the dust and pet hair in the first pass, even with a couple of clogs when the debris exceeded the size of the suction opening. After using the brush to further loosen the dust and then suck some more debris, I can confidently say that the coils are the cleanest they have been in a LONG time. Very happy with my purchase. Cleaning the coils should not suck nearly as bad now that I have a tool that is appropriate for the task!

My wife is a hair stylist so we use the washer and dryer every day. Lint and small hair constantly builds up in the lint trap and, because hair is so fine, it starts to really build up under the trap.Rather than having to constantly call a professional to come out and clear that out; I was looking for an alternative. I have no issue that this set came in a sealed plastic bag, nor that it is thus bent out of shape in a "U" formation.What you need to know - The brush that comes with the set is what makes this whole package worth while. It is what really helps get the junk up and out of the lint trap. The brush has hard bristles that help grab the stuff and, it takes some time and effort to rinse and repeat the use of this. You shove it into the trap, kind of brush around as best you can, grab chunks of fluff and pull it out. Vacuum it clean and do it again.The plastic vacuum attachment - This is why I purchased this set with some thought that it would actually help or do something that it is marginally to poor at actually doing. I tried using this before the brush and, it really doesn't do much but get clogged. Repeatedly it would grab small bits of fluff and clog up. I tried everything I could figure to unclog it and, what finally worked was using the faucet to run water through it and, then over the trash blowing into it as hard as I could to blow the stuff out. Why water? Because it helped make the stuff a bit more adhesive which made it easier to get out. So I did this several times as part of the cleaning process.What I learned - Use the brush as much as you can first, then when things are loosened up try the plastic part to clean.The set works, it just isn't magic or super quick and efficient. If you give it a chance, and are willing to put in a little bit of elbow grease; it does the job.Did not try it on a vent or unscrew anything to try it in other applications. But, if that vacuum attachment gets a clump of anything in it you will be spending a great deal of time trying to unclog.

The media could not be loaded. I received the dryer cleaning kit on time. I have a Samsung dryer & it’s hard to get into the vent to clean it but this flexible dryer vent cleaning brush was awesome!!! It had many different ways to use it. It came with many different pieces 1 was a flexible attachment that separated into individual attachments to be used in different ways ( photo marked #2) This was very useful because I used it to get into the little crevices of the dryer and the dryers vent. The best part about this was that it fit on all 3 brands of vacuums that I had in my home. It fit on my dyson, my Kirby vacuum, and It fit on my Bissel vacuum. It was able to easily reach all the way down into the vent of my dryer and sucked up all the lint inside. This attachment specifies that it is for the dryer vent but I found it so useful that I also used it in my car to vacuum all of the small places that I normally can’t get to. Definitely a great buy and well worth it.

After the lint lizard broke after a year and a half of very light use (once a month dryer cleaning), I looked for something else. This is very simply packaged with no instructions and comes with the long, hooked dryer cleaning vac attachment, plus a long brush, a regular brush attachment (not sure what that has to do with dryers but whatever), and a Dyson and some other adapter. The consensus is it's better than nothing and though it's a tough one, I. think I'll keep rather than return it. I'm disappointed though, it's hard to get up every bit of lint and harder to manipulate than I thought. At one time it lost suction entirely until I pulled the end off (that has a strange hole in it) and put it back on. There has to be something better on the market than this and the lint lizard.. This would be reasonable at $5 but I feel ripped off at $18.

Received promptly within a day. What I like about this is mainly the long brush and also that they included an adapter so the suction device would fit onto my Miele vacuum. I used this on the refrigerator coils in my older style refrigerator. The freezer is on the bottom and so are the coils. So lying on floor, I was able to get through the grates and all the way back. It was dust city under there... ugh! I had to loosen up the clumps of dust by moving the brush back and forth and around, and they dragged out easily adhering to the brush so I could then vacuum the brush off. I did this repeatedly until all the coils were relatively clean. Time consuming, but well worth it to keep the fridge running well. I am so glad I bought this... a very handy tool and $10.50 well spent. My dryer vent is next in line.
