The New Weather Book (Wonders of Creation) Hardcover – April 29, 2015

This inexpensive book is written on three levels of difficulty of topics but easily understandable by those of any educational level. The general weather overview descriptions are accurate, coming from a retired weather forecaster. The author has an obvious worldview bias in places, but it is that of most of the scientists who were the founders of the many fields of science.

Very interesting book with beautiful illustrations. A wonderful gift for the "closet" weatherman in your family.

This book describes the phenomena of weather and climate from both a creation science perspective and a darwinism empirical science perspective. This book is definitely useful for any class that compares the conflicting ideas of creation science with empirical science. About half of the text is the darwinism empirical theories about weather and climate facts but another half of the text is the creation science theories about weather.

He is very excited and started reading it immediately. It is easy for the 12 year old to learn from it and compare to actual weather events in his area.

If you are teaching your kids at home, this is a practical resource for teaching weather, which is one of the more practical sciences you can teach your kid. It comes with a glossary, and plenty of facts and examples. It doesn't have questions at the end of chapters though. You'll have to get creative there.

My dad loves this book. He knows everything about weather but says this is an awesome book.
