We really love the way these work. We are outside of the 18 month window, and the one we had salt in has died. New batteries did not help. We liked them so much, I bought another set. Still, would have been nice if it would have lasted longer.Update: the seller has sent me a replacement grinder. It works much quieter than the last one. We really do love these grinders. 1 star gone, because I have had to buy 2 sets to get 2 to work. The first set was bought 11/15/21, and the 2nd set 7/11/23. I bought the 2nd set because I liked them so much. They contacted me and sent me a new one to replace the one that quit from the old set. Now we have 4 of them.

Must have for the sophisticated kitchen. Really impressive, stylish, value-priced Christmas gift. Fun. and practical. Everyone HAD to use it. No hands down, beat our old manual grinder. Would have given 5 stars (initially). Six months along (well out of 30-day warranty), simply died-not battery issue. Contacted Anna at AmuseWit, via Amazon, and a replacement arrived, no questions asked, almost within a day! Still, I was curious: There are two tiny screws that hold a plastic plate separating the mechanics from the clear, lucite salt reservoir below. All seemed intact, in place, but removing the plate I was amazed to find so much salt packed in around the tiny circuitboard controller, which had corroded beyond repair, with two wires off. I hope this represents a one-off flub in production, perhaps just this individual item. Feedback to AmuseWit that a more secure seal might have allowed this to grind on forever. Still love the product, and vendor response is 100% excellent.

I love this set, they are so convenient to have when cooking or serving a meal. They look classy and work great. I do wish there was a way to keep the tops clean (the salt especially gets built up in the top).My issue is that the company logo is wearing off of the metal band. Has anyone else seen this? I’m disappointed that the set looks worn with a half worn out company logoBesides that, I would recommend and would give it 5 stars.

Update: I spoke with a representative from Amusewit who provided me with a free replacement when one of my grinders quit working. It was an easy process and I am really happy with the customer service as well as the product.Original review: I really liked these and the convenience of being able to grind salt and pepper on food using only one hand. However, mine quit working already after only having them for 5 months. Each grinder takes 6AAA batteries and I replaced the batteries thinking that was the problem, but they still won’t work. The batteries also worked in another device, so I know that was not the issue. Very disappointed that they did not last long at all.

We love our pepper and now we have the option to have course ground, or fine ground, or even some where in between. The light is nice too as on dark foods such as meat you can see the pepper.

It worked great at first. But now, after 6 months, one stopped working. I changed the 6 AAA batteries but has stopped working completely.Edit to add: I was contacted by the seller and was offered a refund or replacement salt mill. I accepted the salt mill. I am satisfied with the seller making it right. I adjusted and added more stars. Thank you!!

Love these, just got to be careful not to let them scare you when moving from stove to table!

Bought the pair and truly like the design. Unfortunately, after six months of use we are unable to unscrew the salt reservoir to refill it. Even had our incredibly strong son try, but no luck. Suspect salt worked its way into the threads. Ordered a replacement today and this time we’ll wipe down and apply some olive oil to the threads each time we refill.

Super effective

I received the gravity electric salt and pepper grinders as a gift. There was a problem with one grinder so I contacted the company right away. The wrote me back immediately and continued to respond super fast until the problem was solved. The customer service rep. (Anna) was very helpful and she solved the problem right away. This was the BEST customer service I've had in ages. I am now the owner of a pair of super salt and pepper grinders, which I LOVE! Thank you Anna and AmuseWit! :)

The media could not be loaded.  I'd been looking for a good pepper grinder for a long time and found this. I'm using it for about 4 weeks now and it works great. Nice design, perfect size and easy to use just with one hand!
