Unication Alpha Elite or Elegant Replacement Pager Holster

I use an American Messaging ES pager and the holder was a perfect replacement for the one that broke.

First of all, let’s tackle the elephant in the room. Yes, it’s 2014, and yes I have a pager. Not by choice! I have a blasted pager as that is the only way my employer believes they can contact me quickly. The pager itself has seen better days, most of which fell during the early 1990’s. As you’d expect with an object that’s older than many of my colleagues, the original belt clip has received a bloody good beating over the years.I finally got around to begrudgingly buying a new one, in fact I got two. I am expecting my employer to squeeze another couple of decades out of this damned thing, so best be prepared.This pager ‘holster’, which makes everything sound much cooler than it is, is great. The geriatric pager fits in perfectly. I’m pretty sure that the holster is the only thing stopping my pager disintegrating at the moment. This is where the clear plastic of the holster comes in very handy! I use the buttons and read the display without removing it from the holster. Very handy.Would I buy it again? Sure, if I had to. But, hopefully my employer will have abolished pagers before that need arises.

I have a trauma pager for work, which is a standard issue with no distinct branding, and this holster fits it just fine. If I have to complain about anything, it's that when I have it clipped to my scrubs it seems to flip over onto itself. I suppose this is a balance issue as the holster only comes up about 2/3s of the way of the pager, so there is too much weight at the top of the clip to stay vertical. Nice quality as far as pager holsters go but there doesn't seem to be many brands still in existence to compare too...I'm all about retro 90s trends.

This item was a perfect replacement for the pager holder it is replacing which got snagged on my car door resulting in a broken clip. The description says that it fits the Alpha Elite or Alpha Elegant but it also fits the Alpha Legend + which is what I have. Price is right on and quality is very good. I have purchase 2 of these so that I have a back up for the replacement!!

I didn't mean to order this, but put it in the Amazon cart as a reminder and when the wife placed an order guess what? Prior to this my pager holster broke and I didn't think the company I work for would replace it, but surprise, they did. Nevertheless, I now have a spare and this one is great quality therefore I may never have to use the other one the company provided me.

I didn't think I would be able to find a replacement holder for my pager, but this is just what I needed. And why do I still carry a pager do you ask? It is a long story, but one of these days when I retire I plan to have my friends over for a party where I will destroy it forever.
