Best trap ever!
I can't believe how well these traps work. We had a lot of mice in the house. I tried everything from pepermint oil, traps and baits. The baits brought more mice and they would die in places you couldn't get to. This trap works so good. I purchased a 6 pack and it was very easy to set. Open the lid and place the sticky pad in and place where you have seen mice. I have had these traps for one week and have caught 8 mice. I suggest you buy extra glue pads.

Excellent Product
Received these traps yesterday (01/30/24) and they are great. Initially I had reservations, because of the plastic window and the alignment of the back panel not being flush with the lid, however, I've been proven wrong this morning when I woke up to find a little mousy critter inside it. I wanted to know they worked, and thankfully I found out this morning they definitely do! The plastic window is attached from the outside of the trap so there is no way for them to chew through it from the inside. It's the strong type of plastic that you'd find on those packages you can't seem to open without scissors, you know the ones I mean, right? ;) Anyway, for anyone interested, as this was one of my questions before purchasing this item; the mechanism works as such where the mouse goes into the hole, and once he's over the first inch or two of metal, the second piece flips down where the mouse can go inside the trap, and the first piece they stepped on to get into the trap flips up making it impossible for the mouse to double back and exit. Also, side note - I really don't think it's possible for their tails to get stuck or anything. We are using this trap humanely, and setting them free once they find their reward inside.

Very effective at catching mice inside box. Awkward after that.......
Good at catching! But, paper adhesion is not effective. I use only to keep bottom of traps cleaner (for reuse) and I add peanut butter spot to it. Unfortunately, once they're caught, you need to transfer them to a ziplock over entire trap or other very carefully as they might escape. Then, you may need to do the deed.It would be much easier if they improve the adhesion on paper or provided a smaller opening/door to get them out of trap.

They rust in any damp or wet location
Got a bunch of these to use in my peacock's pen to safely use as no kill/lease mice eliminators. Rodents carry so many diseases! Tried a variety of baits in each trap. Mostly caught only single mice. Even caught a live small rat snake that got stuck from eating the caught mouse. The clear top covers do not easily open, the little end doors get hung up and they rust from moisture. Cleaning is not easy either. Regret I purchased, but my intentions were well meant. Changed to rat bait blocks. More effective and nowhere near the hassle. Lessons learned.

Good for no-kill catching too
We had a bad mouse infestation, and these really helped us take care of it. I didn't want to kill any of them so I didn't use the glue. We were able to catch and release adult and baby mice alike, of all sizes, and the clear view through the top saved any guess work about what was happening inside. The mice seemed to have no trouble getting in. They're a little hard to open but considering you don't want that to happen accidentally I don't consider that a bad thing, just something to keep in mind.

Trap springs are too weak. Mice are able to enter and exit.
We live in a high-altitude desert and have an elderly neighbor who loves feeding the world's birds. Pounds of bird seed = pounds of mice. Over the past 12 years, I've not had any failures with this type of trap (though my old ones are from a different maker). We use them outside around the perimeter of our house and in our garage. I put a dash of peanut butter in the center and either catch a mouse or the peanut butter remains. We never have issues with any other animal (ant, lizard, or other). Unfortunately, with the new traps (these CatchMaster traps purchased through Amazon), I put a dash of peanut butter inside and placed all three around the house. In all three cases, over the course of 2 nights, the peanut butter was gone from each trap but no mice were caught. So all three had a mouse get in, eat the peanut butter and be able to get out! Since we never had a single escape from our previous traps, zero for 3 is unimaginably bad odds. This product simply does not work. The concept does, as my old traps (again, from another maker) did work. But obviously, this company is all about using cheaper and less material to save cost. They reverse-engineered a good product into such a bad product, they now have to include glue traps! If we wanted to catch/kill mice on glue traps, we would have just purchased glue traps! Unbelievable. I wish I had read these reviews first. All 3 traps have been returned.

Amazing
So many mice have been caught in these traps. We had 3 in one at one point. Much more humane than other methods. Please, even if you have glue traps, use these instead. The ability to release into the wild is super simple.

Works very well
I liked the traps 100% worth it . I do wish they came with more than 1 pad per box .

Si funcionan
Que no se pueden salir los animalitos, lo que no me gustó que solo trae un papel para que se peguen por trampa
