Ten Steps to Advancing College Reading Skills

The book arrived in less than protective wrapping and that was the only reason I gave them 4 stars. It is a paperback textbook and they are so large and heavy that they only get more worn when packaged this way. Other than that the book was as described.

Great nice new book, but does not include access code, which all new books should.

Book was the correct edition that we needed.Could not find an available one in the college bookstore so this was a good deal.It was not in as good condition as we expected. But it will do the job for the college course.

I purchased it for my English class, it was the same price as in the book store in the college.I like it

Hi Ten steps to advancing college reading skills has helped me understand text and how a reading is performed. The text has different parts that are college level reading to professional reading. Reading a text and finding the idea of what is it about makes your reading much better and understanding the text.

I had plans to use this book as it was required for my class (REA0017) and then sell it afterwards, however, I have learned some useful knowledge that I have applied to my outlook in life and that have taught me about many things aside from reading skills. I intend to keep this book and use it as a reference for the future. Great book !!

SUPER disappointed with this book. I had ordered this book for my niece . She showed me the same exact book someone loaned to her for the day so I can get my order correct & so I thought I did...NOPE!! This book comes in different types same edition for some strange reason. I bout it new & found it expensive but knowing she needed it couldn't really use up more time researching but very upsetting to me that after everything I had put into making sure this was correct book I was so disappointed. make sure your child gets the numbers on the side of book and if they match the one your child's teacher is requesting than I would order otherwise don't they are all different books even though same edition . The way my niece learned of the correct book was the 1 number that was different on side of book that her teacher had shown her the trick. Will be returning sad but true.

I bought this book brand new, I did not want to chance it being rented or used. It was brand new when I received it and on time in 2 days. I love it. It has been very useful for me and at a convenient price I can afford. Thanks A lot:)

Easy to understand, well-organized and very helpful for someone who wants to analyze while reading, especially the last four chapters

It's very good book for college level.
