Works for a 90lb Pit bull
Nearly impossible to find anything our big guy can't destroy in a matter of minutes or hours. He has been chewing on this one for over a week. He has done some damage for sure but I expect it may last a month or longer, worth it to us!

Great for Tough Chewers!
My dogs absolutely adore this bone! I have a tough chewer who has never been able to get through Pet Qwerks bones, so I love this company. The BarkBone has no smell from what I can tell, but the dogs still go crazy every time. It is so durable and great for any breed. We got the large bone, and all of my dogs, from my 10lb Maltipoo to my 140lb Great Dane, love to chew on it. Especially our medium sized mutt! As soon as I brought out the bone, he couldn’t wait to get chewing on it. (It was so hard to snap good pictures because he was trying to take it the entire time!) After actually giving him the bone, it kept him occupied for about an hour and a half before he passed it off to another dog. He was barely able to make a dent, and he’s the toughest chewer I know! You should see the amount of toys he goes through in a year. What I love most about these bones is that they are so easy for the dogs to hold and don’t break off in little chunks that could potentially be easy to swallow. They last a lifetime and are truly amazing bones!

Dangerous!!!
Dangerous for a dog’s mouth and insides! Made my dog’s gums bleed and made her bleed when going poo. When she chewed on it, it formed razor-sharp nodules. There is no way to prevent your dog from ingesting the small pieces they break off. Sadly missed my refund deadline.

Great For Heavy Chewers
This bone is great for heavy chewers. My golden can easily tear up a toy but he's been chewing on this bone for a couple weeks now and it's still intact! He hasn't been able to chew off any pieces either. He is around 60 pounds so we chose the XL size. He loves this bone and it keeps him busy and entertained.

Perfect Bone for Any Dog!
This bone is great! My dogs absolutely love it. I ordered a large bone so my dogs, along with my foster dogs, could enjoy it. This has to be my tough chewer, Tucker’s, favorite bone. As soon as I gave it to him, he went to town! He chewed on it for about an hour before settling down for a nap. (Where he then slept on top of it!) I love the stick style bones because they are so incredibly easy for the dogs to hold. Even though there are smaller parts sticking out of the side of the bone, they do not break off in chunks and are so durable. The bone doesn’t smell, to me at least, but it never fails that my dogs go crazy when they see it! I can’t say enough good things about this bone. I definitely recommend it to anyone!

Did not hold up for even 30 minutes

My dog hasn't destroyed it yet
MY dog is VERY picky and VERY destructive with toys and bones etc. I even tried the subscription service for aggressive chewers (but he won't touch it-- it was an extremely hard thick piece of plastic) He likes to "chew" and gnaw- not break his teeth- so this was a pleasant surprise that he actually likes- it shows some wear but it doesn't break off little pieces (to be swallowed) and it doesn't break his teeth- AND it's holding his attention. SO yeah- he's happy- I'm happy.

Happy Pup!
My dog loves this chew bone! He chews for thirty minutes, then hides it away. He doesn't forget where it is, and goes back for more. Makes more sense than gulping down rawhide sticks. Thanks for a quality product.

Stay away if you don’t want a possible vet bill.
My dog seemed to really like chewing on the nubs on the end. Over the course of a few weeks he chewed the three off the one end and if now just chewing on the shaft. I’ve had this bone for about 2 and a half months. A week ago he would wake up in the middle of the night and vomit stomach bile. On the third night of this, something else came out. It was a nub that he had chewed off at least a month and a half ago. He also had a vomiting episode a month before this time, but I assumed he was eating his dinner too fast but this makes me think maybe there was another nub he was trying to get out.Since he was now just chewing on the shaft and having little pieces at a time come off I thought it would be safer, how ever it seems to be cutting up his gums as I find blood on the end of it. It’s since been thrown out.

The bone caused recurring skin infections in my dog.
I have a Doberman who will chew anything to bits. He loves these bones. But there is a problem. The chewed end of the bone turns into sharp plastic bristles ... almost like a stiff wire brush or coarse sandpaper. Some buyers have reported that this has injured their dogs' gums. My problem is a bit different. The three prong design means he chews one prong while the other prongs work like a wire brush rubbing under his chin. He got a bad and recurring skin infection from this bone rubbing under his chin. It took a while to figure out what was causing the skin infection. The plastic bristles become a bacteria reservoir that keeps re-infecting the chin every time he chews it. I bought 3 of these bones. All are now in the garbage.

Dangerous
My 10kg pup managed to destroy this enough to hurt herself. The product is strong but not against constant scraping which is what my dog did and created sharp edges.Bummer..she really likes it but her gums started bleeding from sharp edges.

Watch for Sharp Edges
I was going to send this back right away - wish I went with my gut. My dog decided he liked it and within a few days had chewed it so that he had sharp points. He then landed up with a skin infection and bleeding and I couldn't figure out why until I read one of the reviews. He would hold the sharp edges and they would rub and cause an open wound. He didn't even get to enjoy the entire toy because the nubs are turned into sharp pieces of glass in no time. I have a 7 month old pyranese/st bernard and so far the only chew toys I would recommend are the heavy duty Kong rubber toys and actual dog bones - anything like this or like a nylabone simply doesn't hold up no matter how much they promote them for aggressive chewers.

Probably buy again. Useful info in my comment.
So this is my dog, Cooper, roughly 25lbs lab/border collie. I got the bone roughly 3 hours ago, and he still hasent stopped chewing it. (I got the large)Upon receiving, it felt like a very hard material, there is also no mint scent to it.I see in other reviews about bleeding gums, the bone is doing the same, but upon touching, it's not very sharp, no bleeding either, I'm guessing the gums just need to be hardened on other animals.Anyway he chews everything and he is 7 months old, so this bone seems to be keeping him busy, as for the breath, I cant tell if it makes a diffrence so far.P.S it is loud when he drops it on the floor, so dont get scared lol.
