The Squirrels Love Them!
I get these for the squirrels and I've never met one that didn't love a shelled pecan!

5-10% Bad
I got a bunch of these for the Zombie apocalypse. They look good. The freshness date on them is like 1/21, and it is currently 4/9, so I figured they were good. I actually got them a few weeks ago, but close enough. Anyway, again, they look good. They are indeed full sized halves. The problem is that every 10th one (or so) is off. The taste is starting to turn. I irony with pecans is that this 10th one pretty much destroys the flavor of the next four or five, since the rancid effect saturates your taste buds for a notable duration. I haven't tried one of the other bags yet, but they all have the same date code on them so my hopes are rather low. This is usually caused by poor quality control in the orchard (old, missed pecans left until next season to get mixed in with the new ones) or just poor quality control to keep old ones from getting mixed it at the processing plant. Don't know, don't care, as the end results are the same. And in hindsight, they don't all look great. Probably about 5% are shriveled and anti-plump. But I can handle that size and texture issue if the flavor doesn't ruin my taste buds for a few minutes.

Tasty Good Value
I have gotten these pecans a few times before deciding to write the review. I wanted to have more than one experience to base my thoughts on. Every shipment has brought fresh tasting pecans. The pecan halves arrived, every time, in good shape. They are good for snacking, cooking and baking needs.

Poor customer service
My 24 oz. Bag of pecans arrived looking like it's been in a dumpster , filthy and crumpled. Amazon is refusing to replace it. I buy a LOT on my Amazon Prime and I expect better customer service.

Delicious and affordable !
There is none better than the FISHER Chef's Naturals Pecan Halves. I am on a keto diet and buy these pecans for roasting with butter and Himalayan pink fine sea salt. They are delicious and make being on the keto diet easy. Roasting is easy and because they are so fresh when your package arrives they stay fresh for a long time after roasting.Very few broken halves and would be good for a lot of uses. Pineapple Upside down cake, pecan pie, used ground as a breading for pork chops or chicken, spiced pecans, butternut squash and pecan casserole. Toss some roasted or candied pecans into popcorn. Now you know why I am on a keto diet!!As always good prices and fast shipping with amazon.com.

Best Price Around
Pecans are a big draw for our household's baking and snacking needs. I often keep my eye out for deals, and when this pack is available it's the best deal around. It's a shame it's not always available, but I think there's just such a big demand that they can't keep up.Anyways, the pecan halves are Raw and I've never had an issue with spoilage or quality on this 24oz pack.

Pecan Happiness!
I used to buy huge bags of pecans at the warehouse club store. Initially, they were very good, but then the quality became so bad that I would have to pick out the usable pecans and throw most of the bag away. After this happened two years in a row, I just stopped using pecans. I read online that the best pecans were being sold to China.I saw these for sale on Amazon at a good price. I’ve always liked this brand, so I thought it was worth a try. I’m glad I did, because they are excellent. So far I have purchased two bags. They were both fresh and tasty. There was not a single bad pecan in either bag, nor were there any shell fragments or bitter pieces.Sadly, I ate all the pecans right out of the bag because they were so good, so I never had a chance to bake with them. I feel sure that they would’ve been delicious in baked goods, though. However, I might never know!

Just OK
I didn't bother to read details about these nuts which are ok... maybe a bit dry, BUT the package says nuts are sourced from USA and Mexico and I'd prefer to have nuts from USA, especially from Georgia where I live as we are the pecan capital. In future I'll just buy locally. BUT that said the tornados of recent months has destroyed the pecan market in GA with an estimated 75% of all trees destroyed. I guess the prices will be sky high or will have to buy Mexican pecans.
