Highly recommend
The ASTRO Gaming A50 Wireless Headset has been an absolute game-changer for my PC gaming experience. The audio quality is phenomenal, with Dolby surround sound delivering rich, immersive soundscapes that elevate every gaming session. The 2.4 GHz wireless connection is flawless, providing a stable, lag-free experience, even in a house with multiple devices.Comfort is another standout feature. The ear cushions and headband are designed for extended use without causing discomfort, which is perfect for long gaming marathons. The charging station is intuitive and keeps the headset secure and ready to go, with battery life that lasts well beyond my longest sessions.I noticed some negative reviews about connectivity issues or problems with the charging station, but I’ve experienced none of these. I’ve been using this headset exclusively with my PC, and it has performed flawlessly. Setup was straightforward, and the software allowed me to fine-tune the audio settings to my liking without any hassle. If you’re a PC gamer looking for premium audio quality, comfort, and reliability, the ASTRO A50 is a fantastic choice. It’s worth every penny in my book.

The TRUTH about THIS headset!
The truth of it is, I’ve given it a 5 star when realistically it’s a 4 and a half star. Now this headset is great but it’s the little things that brings it down a peg.For example, if you do not know how to correct the highs and lows in audio and the presets ain’t good for you personally then you’ll either have to learn how to correct it with the command centre (which is a pretty neat application) or just sell the headset. The durability of said headset ain’t the strongest. It has been dropped once (my cat knocked it off my desk) it landed on carpet and the part where soft bit is at the top snapped loose from the frame of the headset and wouldn’t go back in securely. I had to super glue it lol.The surround sound feature is cool but isn’t the best. It’s recommended to use Dolby Atmos, the app on PC however that requires a subscription. You’d thing after paying the high price for this headset you’d get maybe a free trial or something like that for Dolby Atmos but you don’t.If you are looking for sound cancelling, this ain’t the one for you. Go somewhere else. I heard Alienware have a great headset for sound cancelling. The range on this headset isn’t the best, but it’s decent enough if you do stay in the same room. The worst problem I had with this was a weird one. When I upgraded my network to 5ghz Wi-Fi, the frequency interfered with my headset causing it to cut out at times and often have this blipping noise in the speakers. I had to turn of the 5ghz setting on my hub for this to go away. I am hoping they’ve since fixed this issue. I am yet to test it.However, this headset still remains in the spot of one of my best all time headsets. The price is bit too high though. I would recommend going for a cheaper headset if you can’t comfortably afford this headset.

Expensive Glitchy Headset
I can only give this 3 stars as concidering the price paid I was expecting a higher quality and finished product. On appearances it seems good and the sound/microphone are good, but there are no instructions on how to use any of it's features. My headset also wouldn't update to the latest firmware using the official software and running updates. This caused issues with the headset forgetting settings everytime I used it until I found a manual way to update to the latest firmware (which isn't officaialy availble online). My headset also seems to have a loose headband as it will pop open every so often.I'm very dissapointed, do not buy.UPDATE: since my review I have updated this to 1 star as I have had to have the headset replaced under warranty and the replacement headset also has the same technical issues.I'm now at the point where the headset is unusable due to the microphone cutting out and clicking plus a high buzzing sound now can be heard through the left ear on the headset.DO NOT BUY.

Overkill Wireless Headset for general use.
For your money you get a lot. The height bars in these are made of metal (aluminium probably), the ear pads are extremely soft and breathable especially the pad that separates the driver to the ear. Ear pads are held in place by strong magnets. These ARE the most comfy gaming headset you can buy (if you have £200+)The wireless transmission range reaches throught my entire house.I mainly use this headset for my desktop with the included Optical cable tether and the sound quality is incredible for what wireless headphones can offer, including a well sounding mic.Headset has a gyro inside to detect if the headset is on your desk and will turn off after a minute to save battery.Cons.Shame that the microphone is limited by wireless technologies since the MIC FEEDBACK is CRYSTAL CLEAR, mixed with the wireless tech limitations right now it sucks that it sounds bad. There must be a model that supports for tether via USB or 3.5mm please, this microphone has too much potential wasted on poor wireless technology.I do wish the base station could be hooked up to a fast charger instead of 1.1A 5v micro usb since it does take a while for the headset to charge, at least 3 hours. The price is up to you to decide if these are worth it, at the end of it, you get a really solid, constructed and really good wireless headset slightly above the steelseries arctis pro wireless in my opinion. Just a shame the charging and mic quality hasn't changed much in the past 8 years of wireless tech which the mic has loads of potential to beat the sennheiser game one. Conclusion over. If you are looking for the greatest wireless gaming headset money can buy, here you are, if these are not in stock, consider the steelseries I mentioned.
