Works great!

So I bought these to bring my home into the 21 century. With my whole family using technology, these outlets make it very easy to keep our gadgets charged, and once installed they work great. A word of caution, these outlets are much deeper than a standard plug, they take up more room inside the outlet box, and that can make them difficult to install if you have an older home. Also, if you have an older home with metal outlet boxes, not plastic like newer construction homes, it's too easy for the sides of these outlets to touch the metal boxes and short out your new outlet or trip a breaker. These are not hard to install if you have the correct tools and knowledge. They even charge my new very power/finicky Samsung tab a without issues.

Installed all 6 myself within a few hours. (Not an electrician; y’all be safe) Replaced 30 year old sockets. They look great, and obviously offer more functionality than a traditional outlet.

As others have stated it takes up a lot of room in the box.

really nice to have an outlet for charging our phones without an additional box/plug! We updated our outlets recently as we are planning to sell soon, Probably will have to get a couple of these for the new home.

I’ve got about 14 or so of these in my house now because they looked significantly better than the yellowed prior outlets we had and give the convenience to fast charge all of the USB devices we have. No more wall blocks needed for charging which is a plus. Install is super simple, strip the wires needed and just insert into the back then screw on tightly.*** I did run into an issue where our house had 3 neutral or 3 hot wires at a time. I combated this by stripping two wires more than the third, and looping one around the top of the other, then inserting the leftover inch of exposed wire into the outlet rear along with the leftover wire in the second slot provided and screwing on tightly. Electrical tape all around to protect it from hitting the ground and they all work fine. I feel like I’ve done some home improvement/value raising without a maintenance guy and that’s nice. Lol.

I have not been compensated for this review, but it reads like I was. A couple outlets in my house had become cluttered with charger blocks, which means the outlets were busy charging devices. If we wanted to plug in a lamp or a vacuum, we had to rearrange devices. I checked Home Depot and found similar devices, but they were 2X the price, so I decided to take a chance on these. I am thrilled. The USB ports have charged every device I've attempted: iPhones, iPad, Android phone (USB C, which I believe requires a bit more amperage), earbuds, bike light and a flashlight hungry for amperage. The USB ports are spaced correctly from the AC outlets, so my AC cords plug in and share the space with the USB cables. The designers of this product even thought out the features that facilitate installation. I thought I was going to have to pigtail the line conductor because I installed these outlets where they are not the last outlets on their circuits. I was pleasantly surprised to see the product accommodates 2 12-gauge supply conductors (I bought the 20A version), one for the outlet and one to pass down to the next outlet. These outlets solved my charger block clutter in both locations, which pleasantly solved 2 problems for me. I don't have to look around the house to see where my sons have hidden DC adapters. It occurs to me I could benefit from installing these outlets in several additional places around the home, so I think I'll add that project to the list.

These are great. I have installed them on my kitchen island and I plan to replace the rest in my kitchen with the same thing.
