Good unit - Unbelievable Price
Got this unit to do a church show. I needed to add some body pack mics quick to compliment my existing SHURE SLX setup. Of course these are not exactly the same quality as my SLX units. They don’t have assignable channels, so you would not be able to add units and the body pack units are not as sturdy as my SHUREs, but when you consider that you cannot even buy the SLX transmitter for the price of this 4-channel unit these things were just what I needed.I was concerned there may be interference on poor sound quality, and they did sound a hair less crisp than the SHUREs, but overall they were fine (no drop-outs or static) and no one in the audience could tell the difference between these and the SHUREs I had in the mix. These are VHF units – which don’t seem to get any respect due to the possibility of random baby monitor interference – but I had no such issues and also no possibility of these interfering with my UHF SHURE units. The unit comes with headset (DJ type) mics and lavaliere mics – neither of which I used since I opted for the less obtrusive head-worn mics – but that being said, out of the box you get everything you need to get going. Also a nice touch – the unit outputs individual channels AND a mix of all the channels, so you can control each mic from the mixer or (as in my case) save 3 channels on your board and use the mix from the unit.I probably would not get this if I had to use it every day, but for that occasional time when I need to add a few more body packs it fits the need perfectly.

Works great as long as you change the batteries
I have an Improv Comedy group that needed a wireless solution for 4 players at a time. After looking at Shure, Chameleon and Nady, I settled on the Pyle Pro.The Pro's:-Price (no one even comes close)-Comes with lavalier microphones AND headsets (worth the price of the system by themselves)-Has separate outputs for each mike and one single common output-Mike packs have antenna which points downward. I have found that there is less blocking of the signal by your body (better coverage)-Power is supplied by an AC/DC adapter (12vdc out). This opens up possibilities for portable operation.-Compact size (I have everything fitting in a laptop bag, although I wish the rack mounts were easier to remove)The Con's:-Cheap metal antennas. One broke for me right away, but Pyle promptly replaced it. For heavy duty use, you might want to purchase two VHF rubber ducky scanner antennas.-REGARDING NEGATIVE REVIEWS: The unit comes with really crappy batteries. Initially, two channels sounded tinny or broke up entirely. Replaced with Tenergy TN141 rechargeable 9v batteries ($26.97 through Amazon) and everything works great.Bottom line: With new batteries, it works great and at an unbeatable price. I would purchase this again in a heartbeat.

Very good for the price. Lack in quality. Just fix it with filters
Very good. I mean what you get with this price. We are using it for a show in church. The mics works well but the quality is obviusly non so well. We plug them with 4 DI filters and the sound now is perfect.

Restricted functionality
I purchased this product for use in youth drama plays/skits. The first problem I realized with it, is that in order to have reliable reception, the receiver must be within 20 feet of the user. I tried it at around 40 feet first and the reception was inconsistent, cutting in and out during sentences. Problem number two was the location of the antennae on the bodypak. The fact that the mic connection and the antennas are on opposite ends of the bodypak, makes it difficult to carry the pak in a coat pocket without the possiblity of stressing the antennae. The third problem is that within 10 minutes of opening the package, one of the lapel mics had already quit working. I replaced it with a headset and it worked fine. Now for the positive feedback. This product is inexpensive considering what you are getting. 4 bodypaks,4 lapel mics, 4 headsets, and the receiver for around $100.00. If you are looking for an affordable mic solution for speaking, this is worth researching. I actually used a headset for one of our kids to sing through, and it worked very well. The only thing i would keep in mind is that you need to be able to keep the receiver in a close proximity to your speakers so that you don't have to worry about loosing reception during your event. In closing i will say this. Had I not had the luxury of being able to place the receiver at either end of our sanctuary, this unit would not have been usable for us. Although once I figured out the problems, it appears that it is going to perform very well for what we needed.

PYLE-PRO PDWM440 Wireless system meets the need.
I purchased the PYLE PWMA 100 portable system which included one microphone, for use by my four grandaughters, aged 6 through 11. They sing together at public appearances and needed something for places where no sound system was available (usually outdoor events). Then they asked for individual mikes as one just didn't do the job for all four, and they liked to move around as they sang. I got the PYLE-PRO PDWM4400 With 4 headsets and 4 lavalier mikes. They love the headsets. The PDWM4400 also is a mixer, and I ran a cable to the PWMA 100 system and plugged it into the mike inlet so I combined the systems to get 4 mikes with individual sound controls. I spent a lot of time before I found that the connecting cable needs to be TS types, not TRS. This was not made clear by any advertisement or system information I'd suggest a long cable to remove the speaker (PYLE PWMA 100) away from the operator of the PDWM4400, just to keep the operator out of the picture.
