OEM for the lowest price arround.
Seems to be good. Did a spill and fill 20k miles ago. Shifts like new. Much better pricing than the dealer. Still very expensive stuff but the transmissions are bullet proof and this is the right stuff to keep it that way.

Wow, huge improvement
My Cherokee had 75,000 miles on it and the transmission was starting to have occasional wonkiness. Wonkiness is a highly technical term and you must be a PhD to understand it. So I did a poor man's fluid change. The Jeep makes it fairly easy there's a plug on the bottom and about 4 quarts will come out. You can always use one of the sucker systems from the top and get more out.. There is then an input hole accessible via the driver side wheel well. Take the tire off jacck up the car safely and turn the steering wheel all the way and your hand can just about get in there with a torx bit on a small ratchet. Then a long funnel from the top and you can refill using this fluid. I put in the exact amount that I got out. Because it was not a full proper change I just did it the easy way and measured in-v-out to the ounce. Wow what a difference my transmission is so much quieter and smoother shifting it was worth the couple of hours of labor. I do not believe in the lifetime fluid principle. Most of the manufacturers say transmissions fluid is for life to keep their " cost per mile" stats down, it's just not true.

Very high price Mopar product but you have to use it
Very high price Boat bar product that should be a substitute on the market that would overtake this very high price, but you have to use the Mopar product on your Transmission or else

When it comes to the high-tech ZF 8-speed (8HP) and 9-speed (9HP) transmissions found in modern Jeep, Ram, and Dodge vehicles, using the right fluid isn't just a suggestion—it’s an insurance policy. The Mopar 8 & 9 Speed ATF is the factory-fill gold standard for a reason. Performance & Reliability Engineered for ZF Specs: These transmissions are incredibly complex, relying on specific friction modifiers to manage clutch engagement and shift timing. This Mopar fluid is formulated precisely for the ZF 8HP45, 8HP70, and 9HP48 architectures, ensuring the computer-controlled shifts remain crisp and "factory-smooth." Eliminates "Shift Shudder": Many owners who wait too long for a flush—or use a generic "multi-vehicle" ATF—report minor vibrations or "hunting" between gears. Switching back to the genuine Mopar fluid almost universally resolves these issues, quieting the transmission and restoring its intuitive feel. Thermal Protection: This is a full-synthetic (or high-end synthetic blend depending on the specific batch/region) fluid designed to handle the high heat generated by towing with a Ram 1500 or the stop-and-go stress of a Jeep Cherokee. It maintains its viscosity even under heavy loads, which is critical for protecting the delicate solenoid valves. The Peace of Mind Factor While "Lifetime Fluid" is a common marketing term, most mechanics recommend a change every 50,000 to 60,000 miles. Using the Mopar-branded fluid (Part #68218925AB) ensures you stay within warranty requirements and avoids the "chemistry gamble" of aftermarket alternatives. Final Verdict Rating: 4.8/5 The only downside to this fluid is the price—it is significantly more expensive than standard ATF+4. However, given that a replacement ZF transmission can cost upwards of $5,000–$8,000, the extra $100 spent on genuine Mopar fluid during a service is the best investment you can make for your drivetrain’s longevity. Note: If you are doing a DIY change, remember that these transmissions are very sensitive to fluid level. Make sure you follow the specific "fill and check" temperature procedure (usually between 30°C and 50°C) to get the level exactly right.

Wrangler JLの交換用に購入しました。 国内ディーラーは、以前購入した時より 値段が高くなっているのでamazonで購入しました。 個人輸入の取り扱いが難しい商品のため 以前と同じ位の価格で購入できて良かったです。

The fluid for the 9 speed cherokee transmission.
Jeep says that the 9speed transmission has a "lifetime fluid". don't fall for that. I changed the fluid on my 2015 Cherokee KL, 100K. Afterward, gears switching smother than ever. If you want to extend the lifespan of your transmission, do this service.
