I saw online videos of a different brand painters tape dispenser that is much more expensive and not available on Amazon. I decided to give this one a try and I was thoroughly pleased with it. It's very easy to use and allowed me to tape off my baseboards and door trim in no time.What's great is by holding it against the wall while running on top of the baseboard, it ensures the tape to wall gap is consistent. I then ran a small bead of caulk along the tape and painted the area while the caulk was wet, then pulled the tap (while paint/caulk is wet) and it create near perfect straight lines!The amount of tape provided with the item is a decent amount. I was able to do around 3/4 of a standard room's baseboards.

This tape applicator works easily and quickly. My only complaint is that it has an odd size tape so it’s a little difficult to buy replacement spools. You would think you could just buy the extra spools when purchasing this applicator, but they don’t give you that option.

We've been doing a lot of home renovation projects and initially did the taping with our bare hands. Lines were never straight, sometimes bunched up, and tons of awkward tear angles. Then I saw and bought this tool and it's the best. Lays flat, straighter than before and switching out rolls is easy. There's a little applicator roller that uses static to keep the tape end lifted so you don't have to try and unpeel it between uses. Can't imagine laying tape without this guy now

I like the idea of this. I used it to trim a room for painting. It was a bit expensive for added plastic to tape. The tape sticks well and removes easy. I cut into it in some spots to prevent peeling of the paint. I did not have issue with bleeding paint. The idea of using a dispenser is nice but it leaves quarter inch gap because of the side of the dispenser to lay it flat on the wall and move it. Maybe if I used it daily I would eventually be a pro at it but it was not as easy as I was hoping for.

I confess, when I paint I spend more time preparing walls and floors long than I do painting. I found this tool to be simple and easy to use and reduced the preparation time.
