Apparently anesthesia (given to me for a surgical procedure) caused my hair to turn curly. My hair became unmanageable so I switched to this shampoo because it is designed for curly hair and I like it very much. I also use the conditioner that goes with it. I think it keeps my hair from drying out so much and I'm happy with it.

This shampoo RULES. R+Co Cassette Curl Shampoo defines and smooths my curls at the same time. It keeps the curls thick and bouncy but without dry air frizz. I never had long hair until this past year. I wasn't even aware that I had curls until a few months ago. I had always kept my hair short short short. But after a few life challenges...and hard knocks eye openers...it was time to redefine myself. I grew my hair long and pumped iron at the gym. I was in for a huge surprise when a mass of thick soft wavy curls sprouted from my head. To date...This product so far is the ONLY shampoo that has helped my hair reach its max potential...and stay there. I'm really glad that I found it.

I loved this sample, wanted to try before I bought bigger bottles as it is pricey, but it is worth it, i use that and also waterfall a great hair softener for my dry curls it makes my curly hair so manageable and I have a 3C curl my long hair still tangles in the night but it is still very good brand, curly hair just tangles I am use to that. I heard about this from my daughter whom uses this brand for color treated hair and she loves her products as well along with her water fall that makes her straight hair look great too.

I snagged this shampoo during a prime-day special to try with my wavy hair. The pros: Its smells lovely, and makes my hair very soft and healthy looking. The so-so: It isn't the best curl shampoo I've tried, and I need to supplement in more curl-enhancing products to get the finished product I'm looking for. The bad: The first time it was shipped, it was just thrown in the box with my other orders, and the shampoo went everywhere! Over half the bottle was lost, so I returned it and ordered a replacement. The second time around, it still spilled, but since it was the only item in the box, it was not as much of a mess and not as much was lost. My recommendation is if you try this shampoo, order some accompanying curl products but in a separate order so there is less risk of a shampoo explosion.

I have very thick, curly, color treated hair and this shampoo addressed all of my haircare needs. The product is silky and easy to work into my thick mess of hair—you do not need a ton of product in order to form a nice lather. The formula is powerful enough to leave your hair and scalp feeling clean and refreshed without causing dryness or weighing down curls. The shampoo smells really nice too.

I like shampoos that suds up when you use them, I'm a firm believer in washing your hair atleast twice and until you see bubbles when applying. I feel like my hair didn’t get as clean, I used the whole pack (three washes back to back) and it did suds up at all. But my hair was so squeaky from it that I know it was clean. Conditioner was ok, nothing special. The curl cream was nice and would consider buying a bottle of that. Probably won’t get the big bottles of shampoo & conditioner, but that’s why I got a trial pack! Over all nice smell, but there’s better products for curly hair!

I have wavy hair and this shampoo and conditioner helps define my loose curls. Also I have very sensitive skin and I never have a problem with this product. My hair and scalp are healthy and smell great too!
