Great for night shift nurses
I'm a night shift nurse, and I really try to let my patients sleep. This watch is great. It needs to be exposed to bright light to "charge". I carry a nice bright flashlight in my bag. Today I forgot to set it out, so I shinned the flashlight on it for a couple of seconds and that was plenty to have it glowing bright. I will say that it took a couple of days to really glow well, so give it a bit. It's very solidly made and easy to set.

A practical time-keeping solution for those who don't like anything around their wrists, clicking on the desk, etc.
My wife has bought a good number of watches for me over the years and I always lose it or put it away. Either it's too nice for everyday and I don't want to lose it, or it just bothers me so I take it off for a bit and forget to put it back on. I generally can't carry a cell phone because I work in a secured area, so I rely on clocks during the working day, and the time display in my car going to and from work. There are times on the weekend or when I'm taking a day off when I do need to see what time it is, and there's no clock or time display around, so I finally admitted that to my wife. (After all, she isn't always around with her own watch on so I can't always just ask her.) Her solution was this clip-on fob watch. I keep it attached to a belt loop on my favorite pair of casual pants. It never bothers me, I don't have to worry about losing it and it's there when I need it. She transfers it to whatever pair of pants I'm going to be wearing if my favorite pair is in the wash, and I don't even have to think about it. It isn't too big or too small for practical use, either. So far it has been trouble-free and keeps excellent time. I haven't paid much attention to whether it glows or not (or how well) as I'm an early bird and go to bed early as well, but I guess I'll find out this winter.

No battery? Or just broken?
Love how it looks. The lighted face would be very useful at night. Would have been perfect for my upcoming trip. Sadly, it arrived with a non-functioning battery. Might as well just hang a rock off my belt loop.

Disappointed.
I bought it for illumination option. These second hand doesn't glow. Not worth it for me. I'm a nurse and work overnights. Disappointed.

I'm very pleased with this watch
I'm very pleased with this watch. Some of the reviews I read said the watch stopped running or pieces fell off, but this one has run consistently and is still intact. I clip it to my belt loop while out working in the garden and camping- so it's pretty sturdy. And the setting stem is recessed so I don't snag it. The luminous face is handy, too.

Great for Those Who Rely on Their Phone for Time!
I don't wear a watch and rely 100% on my cell phone for the time. I bought this for a Cruise to clip onto our day bag for excursions as when your phone is on airplane mode, the time may not be correct. Additionally, many people forget that the ports they are visiting are not always on Ship Time and run the risk of missing the boat when it leaves port. It is very durable and easy to set the time. Will definitely use for our outdoor adventures from here on out!

Fine for semi-rough use.
Work ok. I put it on a belt loop. When I wear a wrist watch, they get killed quickly. These tend to last about a year. The second hand usually falls off, so when it does, I put a little drop of superglue on it and that will fix it, but sometimes I just take it out and keep using it
