~1-MONTH UPDATE: Much to my surprise, this strap has performed extremely well - so well, in fact, that I bought an identical one for another watch. I've gotten a lot of compliments from people, and they all seem surprised that it cost <$20. So far, there's no significant wear despite daily use. Definitely recommend! ORIGINAL REVIEW: When looking at a strap like this, I think it's important to keep in mind what you're getting and, more importantly, what you're not. What you're getting is almost certainly a relatively low quality strap that is likely to have durability issues. You're not getting the same quality materials that you would probably expect from a $200-300 OEM strap. Instead, you're getting relatively low quality leather and likely low quality materials for the clasp mechanism that, while they look nice, are unlikely to be nearly as durable as a more expensive strap. With that said, I'm happy with the quality of the strap for the price. Here are my thoughts: - The leather looks nice but is extremely stiff; while this is to be expected with an alligator-like style, I suspect that this is also due to the relatively low quality of the leather used. There is absolutely no give in the leather, and it's not supple in the slightest. The strap is extremely difficult to bend as there is almost no give because of the stiffness. I suspect that if you were to fully bend the strap, it would likely leave clear creases in the leather. - The clasp and buckle works as expected, but as noted above the materials feel extremely cheap and lightweight, and I expect durability to be an issue. With a <$20 strap I wouldn't expect anything different, and I expect that this strap will likely need to be replaced again in the relatively near future, especially with heavy use. However, the clasp does work as advertised, and I haven't had any trouble with the button mechanism releasing the clasp when pressed or with the clasp spontaneously coming loose so far. - The size of the band is as advertised. I got a 22mm strap and it fit the lugs on my watch perfectly. - I absolutely love leather straps with the metal clasps: the leather strap makes the watch much lighter than a full metal band and I just prefer the look of a leather strap over a metal bracelet, but the clasp mechanism reduces wear on the leather since you're not having to constantly pull the strap to put the watch on/off. As above, the steel used on the clasp mechanism is very thin and lightweight, and I bet I could probably bend it just with the force of my hands. This obviously raises durability concerns. - Aesthetically, the strap does look quite nice. Seen in passing, it looks like a high-quality, OEM strap that you might see on a nicer watch. The key issue here will be how it wears with time, and I don't expect that it will wear nicely, but out of the packaging, it looks great. - I've only worn my watch after replacing the strap for a day, but it has been comfortable to wear so far. The leather is so stiff that it actually creaks a little bit when moved, but other than that I haven't had any issues. As I mentioned above, the clasp stays securely shut and I haven't had an issue with the clasp abruptly coming open during regular use. - The packaging did include a spring bar tool and some extra spring bars, so if you don't have either, you're covered here. I ended up buying a separate spring bar tool and used that, so I can't comment on the quality of the tool, though it looks and feels quite cheap, and the other tool that I bought cost more than the entire cost of this strap. I also used the original spring bars that came with the watch since I still had them, so I can't comment on the quality of those either. For one-off use the included tool is probably fine, but you find yourself replacing watch straps with any degree of regularity, you'd probably be better served buying a higher quality tool separately. Should you buy this strap? That's a difficult question, and it depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking for a strap that is likely to last quite a long time, this almost certainly isn't going to be the strap for you. I haven't had the strap long enough to comment on long-term durability (I will update this review if/when I have any issues), but at this price point and based on my impression of the materials, I think there's zero chance that this strap is going to last a long time. You should expect that you will need to replace this strap at some point in the future, especially if you wear your watch regularly. However, for a <$20 strap, I'm satisfied with the product as a whole: it looks nice (for now) and functions as advertised, and it's better than the strap it replaced, which was entirely broken and made my watch unwearable. If you set your expectations accordingly and understand that you're not getting the quality of an original OEM strap that costs $200 or more, then this is a great product for the price (as long as it lasts more than a couple of months).

This is my second time purchasing this strap after the first one lasted me about 3 years and I'm replacing it just because one of the loops broke - impressive! It's a nice-looking replacement strap, especially for the price. The alligator grain gives the watch a dressier look without feeling too flashy. My only caveat is that it does not feel like a high-end luxury strap, so expectations matter. The leather is good for the price but not something I’d compare to a premium OEM band. Still - if you want to refresh a watch without spending a lot, this is a solid option.

The first thing to catch my attention was the strap has the style clasp I wanted already installed. Then I looked at the reviews and customer photos to get an understanding of the quality, comfort , and size as delivered. I have moderately big wrist at seven and three quarter inches so I had to keep a close eye on the overall length of the strap: the iStrap band matched the size of the original band that came on the watch, so it met that requirement. I had a dressy watch that I had put a similar clasp onto its leather band and was happy with the operation and comfort of that watch/band/clasp, the iStrap matched the look, comfort, and operation I wanted. Because I have only worn the watch with the new iStrap installed for just one full day I can't fully speak to how well it will last. However, it does look to be a quality leather strap and the clasp looks very nice and snaps into place securely and easily. I have it installed on a divers watch that originally had a rubber strap that would be fine if I were to use it diving but was not comfortable for daily use. The iStrap is easy to put on and take off and at the same time feels secure that it won't come undone and fall off. I chose the black leather band with white stitching because it gives the sport watch a dressier look but maintains the go anywhere do anything look of a daily wear sport watch. It has met my requirements and I am satisfied with my purchase.

Incredible quality for the price. Strap feels and looks like $100+ strap from AD. Butterfly clasp is a little difficult to function but the quality is definitely there. Paired beautifully with my black dial seiko

I was worried it would be cheap or break, but honestly for the price, it’s pretty dang nice once you break the leather in. The clasp holds well. Very impressed. That being said, the tool that comes with is trash lol, the fork side bent and broke with little to no pressure.

Overall this strap is nice. The only problem happens to be paramount: the leather is uncomfortable. At this price-point that should not be an issue. In fact, the quality should be above average. The mechanism works perfectly, and it’s nice looking, although perhaps a bit too skinny for a 20mm. Having said all that, it could simply be the size of my wrist that causes it to sit and feel awkward. For half the price it’s 4 out of 5 stars, for a bit over $20, and it’s not worth it. I haven’t once worn this watch outside a couple hours in the house. Perhaps I’ll put it on something else one day and try again. Aesthetically it’s great, and well made. Parts of the leather are certainly synthetic, which is a shame.

It appears to be a great watch band, however I'm still waiting for the watch. Time will tell if it holds up or not. I know, you're asking "How can you give it 5 stars if you haven't even mounted it, or worn it?". Well, the review is just for the strap itself, and not functionality or durability. It was certainly packaged well, in a hermetically sealed envelope. It struck me as kind of strange but I figured it was just part of the shipping process. The metal deployment clasp was covered with a blue plastic type of wrap. It keeps it from scratches during shipping I suppose. It did its job. The quality of both the band and clasp is not what I'd expect at such a low price so again, it gets 5 stars from me. I did order the wrong size, 22mm instead of 20mm but it's not worth my time to make a fuss. I am positive 2mm will not make a difference being the type of material. Had it been metal I would have sent it back. I liked it so much I bought another one in white for my wife's gold version of the Galaxy Gear S2 Classic smart watch. Which like my silver titanium version, has not arrived yet either. Guess I'm just the kind of person that likes to be prepared. I just know from experience that the deployment type clasp not only makes putting a watch on and taking it off much easier, it's also less likely to fall off in the process. Again, I'm talking from experience. Maybe when we actually get the darn watches I'll come back and post up some pictures.

This watch strap was made of good quality for price leather and of good construction. Worth the money.

Me ha gustado, buenos materiales aunque al principio es un poco rígida, con el tiempo se adapta mejor a la muñeca. El cierre parece muy seguro y práctico. Incluye pasadores y herramienta para cambiarla.

Leather strap is good, Leather is nice. However on my Cartier Tank L it does not fit nicely on my 18cm wrist at all. It's to short. The clasp is on the side of my wrist almost. Also I had to swap my original clasp in as the butterfly clas on one side does not stay closed at all. The fixed side stays locked in place until pressed, but the side with the stem get's opened/loosened with a very slight tug... All in all, great looking bracelet and set but clasp quality is un-usable and did not meet expectations.
