Used this to install the exterior push button transmitter for our interior door bell! Works perfectly!

i accidentally bought an inside sprinkler system because of how easy it was to use. when i went to install it, i realized it was for indoors only. so i decided to hunt for a weatherproof box to mount the system in. the box was the perfect size and really easy to mount on the wall, and i liked the small backboard inside the the new box to mount the system to. overall i an very happy with the install and quality of this product.

Nice job box, fairly sturdy and the cover is very secure. Seems like it would be waterproof, but mine was installed indoors. Drilled easily using a step bit. Only minor complaints were that it didn't come with any mounting screws or hardware to attach anything to the mounting board, and I had to trim the corners of the mounting board to clear the mounting screws.

An older Genie "radio controlled" circuit board needed a cover, as the original cover was very brittle and broke when attempting removal. The description and measurements were exact and it works fine as a new home for the circuit board (I did modify it by drilling holes for its wires). It protects the item and its cover allows easy access.

In Las Vegas having things outside can be destroyed by dust so this box protects our WiFi extender which is needed to run music player etc. .

Sturdy hinges, watertight seal, relatively thick ABS plastic - body is approx. 2mm thick and clear lid is approx. 3mm. Has 4 brass standoffs inside for mounting your project. Has 4 enclosed "screw wells" on the back to be used for mounting the box somehow. I had to drill 2 holes through the back to mount to a vertical wall.
