The width is about twice the size of these. It's called vet wrap in a farm store. However, these narrow rolls work better for human fingers and toes. **Q: Does it stick to the skin?** A: No, it does not stick to the skin. It will hold on to itself, however. I simply put a piece of tape where it connects, in order to permanently hold it together. I highly recommend this tape! It is soft yet strong, Stretches yet holds. Does not slide around. **Q: Do you have to remove to wash your hands?** A: If it is on your foot or elbow, I'd think not. But if you have it around a wound on your hand, I don't think you will want to wash your hands with this wrap on. It is meant to hold a pad or cotton ball on a would with sufficient pressure to keep it in place while the bleeding stops. At least that is the primary utilization as far as I know. However, it is also strong enough to provide support for a lightly sprained ankle or wrist. It is the same stuff they use to hold a cotton ball over the opening where they draw blood from my arm when I go to the lab for bloodwork. **Q: Are these bandages Water resistant?** A: The bandage will get thoroughly wet in the shower. It will stay on most of the time, though.
