Works as intended
First off - I have to agree that this is no where close to water tight. However, if you have basic skills and pay attention to what you are doing, this is super easy to work with and delivers good results for the price. Long story short, most of the issues noted are most likely operator error (e.g. inserting terminal backwards, not all the way, fugly crimps, etc. all of these prevent the retaining mechanism from working properly).Bottom line, I'll be buying another one for my next project.

Really not good, and I'll tell you why.
The product description of this thing is somewhere between misleading and flat-out wrong, but several other reviewers have called out its errors. Primarily, while it "holds" nine ATO/ATC fuses, only six of them are functional. The other three are spare holders only. The description fails to mention at all the 4 bussed FMX fuses that are themselves fused with a 100a fuse secured with 1/4" studs. A little nonsensical. It can support 4 Bosch-style 5-pin 30a relays, 2 Bosch-style 4-pin 40a relays, and two 5-pin micro relays. Why the 40a positions are only 4-pin is beyond reason, but it's pretty clear from the pictures. I knew all this going in, so my 1-star has nothing to do with these details.Dumb stuff:1. There is a gaping hole on one side for wiring, but no grommet or anything else. There simply aren't enough positions to justify an opening of this size.2. The bussed fuse is ABOVE the gaping hole on the side, so the only way to wire it up is to bend wire pretty tightly. Considering it will support 100a, that's like 6ga or 4ga wire which doesn't willingly make that bend.3. The base is designed for tangless terminals, and uses basically friction from little plastic fingers to hold them in place. It works some of the time, other time you need to push terminals onto fuses and relays from below. It certainly won't last.4. The various supplied terminals are not of a consistent size, but each type of terminal comes in only one size. If you're wiring the whole thing up with 12ga or 14ga wire you'll be fine, but it's pretty silly to pull down relays with 14ga wire. Coils use fractions of an amp!5. The price seems attractive, it's a lot of stuff for $35. But cheap relays, ill-fitting terminals, and nonsensical design features don't create value here. A Littelfuse HWB60 with 60 Metripack 280 terminals costs about $35, and it's completely superior. You can still buy cheap relays for $10 if you want... or go scavenge a junkyard and get some name-brand relays that are probably still fine. :)I *am* going to use this stupid relay panel so I didn't waste $35, but it's not good. I wouldn't recommend it, and I wish I'd used the a name-brand product instead. But, I have some nonstandard relays I wanted to use, and I was hoping this would allow me to do it. Really disappointed, and I hope this doesn't come back to bite me.

Very satisfied
I would use black rtv to hold the connectors in. I'm very satisfied with the price. I wouldn't give a bad review because if you want true quality that always costs way more than $35. I would buy it again if I need one for another car

Crap
This is not a very good fuse block, my complaints-There is nothing to tell you the orientation of the connectors. After a few, I figured ot out.The connectors do not sit well in the slots. They were kind of at an angle which made pushing in the relay or fuse difficult. The relays have no spike protection like a diode or resistor across the coil. That's just cheap. The star rating asked about weather proof.I have no idea because I scrapped it and built my own pack using a much better Blue Sea fuse box.PeacePP4x4

Pretty Cheap enclosure and relay mounting.
Product enclosure and external relay connections moisture exposed. Also nothing in the enclosure is pre wired for relay insertions. The mounting base is a bare plastic molding you have to set up with the supplied connectors. I did not use this product as it does not meet code for intended installation.

A better description of this item
I'm pretty happy with the layout, I'm going to use it to upgrade the wiring on my '74 TR6, mounting it upside down above the passenger footwell.A few things about the description. The relay box itself has only 6 functional blade fuse holders, the three separate ones are only for spares, although I suppose you could cut out the plastic to make it work. Two of the relay mounts are limited to 4 pin relays, and are meant to be filled with larger terminals to meet the 40A maximum current for the load wire connections. Three relay bases will support either 4 or 5 pin relays, but the terminals will only fit 30A lugs. And finally two bases for 5 pin micro relays. The case is by no means waterproof, but if mounted either on a level surface or with the wire outlet pointed down, it's reasonably protected from water coming from above, although water could certainly enter and collect on the bottom of the box. If I were mounting this in my engine bay I would try to keep it away from the fender openings and closer to the firewall where it would be protected.I received a total of 8 relays; (2) mini 4 pin 40A SPST, (3) mini 5 pin 40/30A SPST, and (3) micro 5 pin 30/20A SPST.As someone mentioned in the questions section, it has (4) FMX Maxi fuse holder spaces with one lead hard wired to the main power terminal, and it does have connection lugs to use them. It did not come with any of these fuses.Overall, with 7 relays, 6 blade fuses, and 4 FMX Maxi fuses, I think this is a decent relay/fuse box to upgrade older cars with simpler electrical needs.
