Man let me tell you this makes a BIG BIG BIG BRIGHT BRIGHT difference especially for when I do location work in darker conditions. Yes, as you can see it works just fine in my flashpoint 1220m as you see the pictures. There’s really nothing more I can say however I will give you the pros and I guess “con” of itPros:Super bright which is what I neededThere’s light IN FRONT of the housing!WAAAAAAY cooler temps, almost no tempsStandard m26/27 size for standard connections.Low cost but not low quality by any means. It’s well built.“Cons”:it’s big and large... fine by me but for others thinking they are getting the standard size, think again. It’s a biggon!So for my photographer buddies in the Amazon world, you CAN use this light in your studio strobes as I am clearly in the pictures. However, look at the close up and you can see I ordered and using the extender. DO NOT straight install this because that strobe WILL pop it and will burn it. Get that extender and you’ll be totally fine.This is not the dimmable version BUT for those using the light to turn off after ever pop, it will do so. Does not eat any power at all especially for you full poppers.If you don’t mind these barter .50cals hanging from your strobe making it look like a big MG42 with a large muzzle, then get these! I got the cooler version not the brown/yellow 5500’s. Still totally white balanced in camera.

This bulb is big - probably 4x the size of your average light bulb and it is bright! I was looking into getting some 4 foot shop light in the garage for more light, but with just 1 of these bulbs my two car garage is now well lit. Saved some money there! Kind of wish the bulb was dimmable, but from what I have been reading from other reviews this product is not.

I put three of these above my bathroom sink in the vanity fixture without informing my GF. She turned them on for the first time after a hard night of drinking to remove her contacts before she passed out. I heard a scream. A shrill shriek of terror and pain. Believing she had just been slashed at the throat, I ran up the stairs to rescue her. After what seemed to be an eternity of a profanity laced tirade, she revealed the source of her violent discomfort. It was the brightness of the lights. She did not approve. She thought I was insane and in need of a visual exam. I love them. I bought more. They are amazing. They are bright. I dont know how many watts. But you cant look a them.

I love how bright they are, at first. They do not love the humidity where I live. They are all under cover from rain, but the humid environment shortens their brightness by a lot.I repurchased because they are SO BEAUTIFULLY BRIGHT.

This light is exactly how it is described. Extremely bright, therefore, if you have an area that needs brighten up, this is the light. I had it for 3 years in the garage and it is still brighten up the inside and when the garage door is open, it brighten up the outside.

I bought 2, and they were both super dim compared to previous order. The box was also unmarked as to specific detail with a sticker over lumen choices. Without the previous bright bulb, I could barely see in garage. No where near 5000 k or 5000 lumens. I'm going to look for a different brand.

I was initially purchasing this for a garage ceiling light. It is far too large/long and way too bright for that application. I was then going to use it on my deck but it will not screw into the outdoor weatherproof socket. The light is too fat near the threaded portion of the light.If you are looking for a very big and very bright light this might be the light for you.
