My PFAFF 2140 bobbin winder doesn't work, I tried drill method, from watching a Youtube, the rpm was tooooooo slowThus I had to seek other solution.This winder runs way faster than Singer 9960 Quantum Stylist,By using it, it frees up the sewing machine work space, so that I don't have to thread back and forth between bobbin winder and the needle.I'm just way way way soooooo happy and want to buy several to my families, friends as BIRTHDAY GIFTS, if they also enjoy sewing, they will also fall in love with it like I do.As a matter of fact, I want to buy another one, in the fear that Corona Virus will make it difficult to buy more in the coming up days. I can be happy to use it at my mom's home on the SInger 9960 Stylist.If Google is "listening" to me, which I believe so, pop up this machine to first recommendation list to all sewers!!!!!

Bobbins won't fit on this machine.
I have tried class 15 bobbins, class 15J bobbins, class 66 bobbins, Pfaff bobbins, green and waterfall Viking bobbins, 221 bobbins and even big industrial size M bobbins. Not any of them will fit on the shaft where you wind the bobbin. Can't even force it on.Of course, the whole reason for getting this machine is to wind bobbins. It completely fails. The shaft is too large to accept any bobbin I have tried.I don't like to give such low ratings but this one deserves it. Simply put, it just does not work for winding bobbins.

The Best Bobbin Winder
I'm so happy with my bobbin winder! I Was unsure it would work on my industrial machine bobbins. It works beautifully. Winds faster than my machine winder. Elimi ates the need to buy 2 of the same color thread. Works also on my household machine bobbins.

circuit board is cheap
I wound less than 50 bobbins & then it gave up the ghost. There were no instructions with it but that didn't bother me too much. I accidentally figured out that there's a laser that tells when the bobbin was full. The plug never did fit correctly but I kept trying to baby it along until today when no amount of fussing with it worked. It gets electricity but simply didn't work. I'm really disappointed with it should have known that it wouldn't last, being from China. Don't bother spending the money on this.

Product does not work for it's intended purpose.
This portable bobbin winder did not work as intended. There was no instruction sheet with the item. My husband helped me figure out how it should work. The motor turns on, but there's no tension on the spool of thread so it does not wind on the bobbin. It also is not constructed like the picture. The manufacturer said there was a video to show how it was used but I never saw an available video. I returned the item.
