Johari West shirts are made from 100% high grade Indonesian cotton and have top stitch detail on the collar, shoulders, and sleeves with monogramed Johari West buttons. The Johari West Hawaiian or tropical style designs are produced using stamps that are approximately 8 to 10 inches’ square that are applied by hand in a repeating pattern. To obtain the specific color, each shirt goes through several hand dying and open air drying techniques that are centuries old and have been passed down through the generations on the islands of Indonesia. Due to the high level of individual hand craftsmanship involved in producing the shirt, the color and print may vary from the main picture. We believe that one of the true advantages of wearing a Johari West shirt is knowing that all shirts are individual with no two shirts being exactly the same.

I love these shirts!
Yet another wonderful batik fish print, I wish they'd make more variations and colors.I also wish more print shirt vendors would make high quality 100% cotton products like these.

Summer Luxury
New favorite shirt! Great cotton fabric, just wash and dry on a hanger. It is a bit larger than stated size but this is what you want for summer weather.

Not worth $75 !
I bought several of these shirts as I really like them and I especially like the fact that they are contructed, made to last. The buttons after a few years are still on tight and they still look great. I paid somewhere's around $45 for them each and they are worth every cent of that but when I saw the new price of around $75 I was almost offended that the price had risen so dramatically ! These shirts are the type that strangers will come up to you and ask you where did you got such a gorgeous shirt. Once again you can't go wrong with the quality but we've got to draw a line in the sand when predatory pricing is involved. After 30 years in retail/wholesale I can tell and I will refuse to buy unless prices are brought back down to a more reasonable level.

Fine looking shirt
This is a great shirt, nice design, comfortable, and fits perfectly. I got the XL , I am 6ft and weigh about 215.

Third time's a charm!
I ordered this shirt as a gift for my father, who is a sport fishing enthusiast. I actually ordered it three times; the first time, the shirt I recieved had a different pattern ("Bass Lake") than what I had ordered ("Sailfish Night"). I was OK with it initially, figured it was just a mix up and dad would like the bass pattern too, but I really wanted the sailfish one, so I ordered a second one. And again received "Bass Lake ". On both shirts, the outside package says "Sailfish Night" but the tag says "Bass Lake". I called to return the second shirt, because why would I want to give dad two of the same? I was very disappointed though, as the Sailfish pattern is gorgeous. While I was on the phone with the (amazing) Amazon customer service going through the return process, the very helpful rep asked if I wanted to try one more time for the right pattern. The return process was so easy, I figured, why not? If its wrong again, I'll return it and oh well. I placed the order while still on the phone with the rep, and he even expidited the shipping for my troubles. The next day, the shirt arrived and was finally the right pattern! Its just as lovely as I hoped, dad's going to love it.

My new go to for comfortable yet class daily wear
I originally bought one of these shirts for a vacation, but after seeing how well they fit me and how comfortable they were, especially in hot weather, I ended up buying more for my regular wear rotation. I appreciate the fact that all the different styles remain consistent on their size and fit,.
