Reptiles & Amphibians: An Augmented Reality Popup Book

The media could not be loaded. Unbelievable!! One of the BEST purchases I made for Christmas kid you not!!This book is truly amazing for any young, imaginative reader. Its a good size book printed on heavier paper with a wire binding helping to keep its shape as you turn. Each page is nicely illustrated and best of all, with the help of your phone, tablet, iPad, etc., the books photographs, magically come alive in astonishing detail.Its roughly 28 pages (sorry, don't remember), and a great leap forward encouraging imaginations through technology.I look forward to 'playing' with the others when they come in. Hey, I'm 60 and I loved it, so I KNOW my grandson will too!!I hope they continue to come out with more books like this in the future, the possibilities are endless!!Highly recommend this product and will buy more as my grandkids grow.5 Star product for sure, wouldn't hesitate, so worth it!!

I’ve never seen anything like this before. The pages TRULY COME TO LIFE!! The 3D frog anatomy is amazingly detailed! It’s so much fun that my nieces wouldn’t stop fighting over the book. Luckily I also got the AR solar system poster by this company, so now one can use the book and the other can check out the poster.

My kids are obsessed with the AR tide pools book, so when I saw this AR book by the same company, I had to get it! And now it’s the new favorite in our house. My boys (6 & 9) love watching the T-Rex, the rattlesnake, and the chameleon eating the grasshopper. And my 11 yr old daughter especially likes the frog anatomy page. It’s really amazing how you can see the frog in 3D and then move your phone through it in mid air to see the internal organs (without actually dissecting a frog). Can’t wait to see what they’ll do next!

I purchased this book for my 5 year old niece. She was so impressed that the pictures came alive on her mom’s phone. She has not put the book down. She was very impressed with the Komodo Dragon as she now believes Godzilla exists.

I bought this book for my 6-year old son who loves to read, watch, and learn about animals of all types. When he realized what the iPad did with his book he was absolutely thrilled watching the pictures come to life. You learn a little about the animals featured in the book and then see the 2-dimensional image in the book come to life on your tablet through AR.It's a little expensive for a book that doesn't fully take advantage of the AR feature. In this case the only thing that loads is a video image of the animal featured in the book. It would be nice if the AR added new information or animated graphics. With an internet connection they could even periodically update the information in the book. For those kinds of services I would probably pay more for this book. As it is, it's a fun experience for the kid, but not something I would buy a lot of.

Bought as a gift for my grandson who loved it but the adults were just as blown away , I have no ideal how they did it but I hope they make a lot more like it . Will be buying the other 2 books soon.
