It works perfectly.
Have been very impressed with how the poop scooper works and how effective it is. I did think the handle might be a little short but it is perfect for my height (5ft 3in). It picks up cleanly, even the less well formed deposits, and releases them easily for the most part. It’s easy to clean just by running under an outside tap or dunking in a bucket of water. A very good product and good value for the price.

Great 👍
Works well! It lasted 4 years of daily use in the garden. It cracked due to improper use, but had paid itself off over time, so a bargain!

Dog scooper
Rated as 4 as not as long/tall as I expected. Well built though and does a great job. I use X plastic shopping bags to drop the business into. No hassle each time

brilliant gadget
I bought this after a friend got one and it doesn't disappoint. I admit that even i had two goes at putting it together but once done off i went. My task was a large garden with mixed surfaces, four large dogs and a week since i'd been able to get out there. The handle length is just about right for me at five foot nine but if you're over six foot maybe a little short. The handle is comfortable to use and the jaws are amazing. Picks up the little jobbies off paving and grass with ease. Even softies don't seem to want to stick to the jaws so everything gets picked up and plonked where you need it.I found that on long grass it helps if you twist your wrist a bit when picking things up as it helps separate the grass strands from your prize.Being plastic the jaws are easily cleaned (should anything stick) but i just had to rinse the jaws in an old bucket with some disinfectant after use just the same, then hang it up to dry using the little hole in the top of the handle. All in all a brilliant device that turned a thankless job into a breeze.

Poopy Scooper
Not so easy to use, poop tends to get caught in the teeth of the scoop! Easy to use though to be fair, just a shame it doesn’t scoop well. Quality material & affordable fir what it is.

It’s broken!
I bought this in December 2022 when it actually had a year’s warranty on it. I don’t see any sign of that now nor do I see any way to claim on it. I need to make a claim now because it has broken. How do I do that when there doesn’t seem to be anyway to make a claim? The sticker stating “1 YEAR WARRANTY” is clearly visible on the device.Anyway, to be objective, it has lasted for eleven months although the objections that I raised when I purchased it have certainly proved to valid ones. Luckily my dog has a really healthy digestive system so I haven’t been faced with the task of scooping up liquid poop. In fact I was beginning to think that it was pretty near indestructible when this morning I squeezed the handle to open the jaws & it just fell apart in my hands. Just like all the rest from a variety of different sellers have done. Someone needs to tell the Chinese company that makes these things by the billion that their design is faulty & needs to be more robust. Maybe a switch to a more suitable ABS type of material is needed also because they always fail at the narrowest sections.Overall it’s not worth any stars at all.The following review was written at the date of purchase.I’ve previously had two different poop scoops from different manufacturers. Both broke due to the poor design of some of the components. What both of those had in common though was plain straight edges to both of the jaws whereas this example has one plain jaw & one that is toothed. What that means, is that unless your dog’s deposits are firm & solid, the scoop will not pick up everything that the dog has deposited. If it’s sloppy then it will run out of the scoop through the holes formed by the scoop’s teeth. See the photo to illustrate that. Also it means that small bits of poop are impossible to grab. The previous ones that I’ve owned with the two straight edges could pick up a piece of dog poop the size of a large pea & a deposit of dog diarrhoea. This example will have trouble picking up an example the size of a Brussels Sprout & as for a runny one-forget it. My advice to would-be purchasers is “Don’t bother with this one. Find another with two plain un-toothed edges”. It’s a shame to have to give it that sort of rating because otherwise it seems to be better made than others that I’ve had. Time will tell on that though

Takes all the work out of picking up dog poop!
I hate picking up dog poop (just the feel of the warm, squidgy poop through the bag makes me want to throw up) but with this Poop Scooper I could pick up dog poop all day long! If your dog's anything like mine, he'll lay at least two meaty eggs on every walk, but that doesn't mean you have to bag them up indiviually - no, just leave the first whiffy deposit in the bag-lined scoop until your dog's ready to lay another and you can pick that one up too! And then, when you're sure your dog's empty, you can take the bag off, tie it up and put it in the bin (not decorate a tree with it, which seems to be all the rage where I live). Honestly, it worked better than I was expecting and now I can walk the dog without having to worry about fetching up my breakfast whenever I see him raise his tail and assume the position.
