We bought this bridge in the 8 foot length. At that span, the lap joints in the center of the bridge are insufficient to requirements. We ended up bolting a 2 foot 2 x 4 across each of the three joints, which stabilized everything. It does not sag, creak, or wobble, all things that were problems before. When we first put it up, it was fine, but the lap joints started to sag and crack after a few months of use. Fortunately, we have the tools and experience to fix it ourselves, and expect it to last a good long time. Without our modification, we expect it would have eventually failed.Purchased summer, 2020.Repaired summer, 2021.

A beautiful bridge when your done with assembly. Beauty fades quickly as 2 of the lights fail with in the 2nd week and after a month the stain faded, after 2 months in the outdoors the wood is cracking and shrinking, had to completely restain with a quality stain, hope that will slow the deterioration. In all pretty bridge but not worth the headache that you will get after such a short time. ☹️

These are beautiful bridges. They are easier to assemble with two people. It also suggests coating them with linseed oil for added protection, which we did. We will also try to protect them from the winter snow.

This bridge is very well made. I painted it with a light-colored stain. I placed stepping stones on the sides. It looks great in my garden by my patio. A great addition to my garden.

Easy enough to put together. Over priced for what you get. Nice addition to back yard pond though.

Lovely product, well worth the time it took to put together. The lights are very cheaply made and small but cute!
