I appreciate the size because I am a teacher and I frequently use this fanny pack when I go on field trips. I am able to take all of the things I need. I can wear this crossbody or around my waist and it makes it so much easier to access items, as opposed to wearing a backpack and having to take it off just to access the contents. Despite the size of this bag it is very comfortable to wear, even when it is loaded down with items I need. The zippers are smooth and do not snag or catch. I appreciate the keychain that comes inside the front pocket. It gives me a place to attach my school keys while we are out, offering quick retrieval once we return to school. This bag can carry at least 3 bottles of water (16.9 ounce bottles). It would make a great diaper bag style fanny pack for moms also. Overall I highly recommend this bag if you are in need of a large fanny pack to carry essentials. Unfortunately, I discovered a defect on first use, four months after purchase.
