Tamsco Instruments Embroidery Scissors, Purple

I love the color and the heft of these little scissors. I purchased a separate leather sheath for them (they come in a plastic bag that won't last very long) and I've been using them daily for a few months now. They work almost as well (about a hair less smooth in operation) as my Gingher scissors, but they're just dandy for my cross-stitch needs. The cost was worth the investment - relatively inexpensive and a joy to use. The only thing I'd note, aside from the lack of separate sheath (which won't matter to some people who use cases), is that the finger holes are medium-sized. If you have larger fingers, you might have a bit of trouble using these scissors. But for me, they're wonderful and I'd definitely order again.

These are nice little scissors. Not the best I've ever used but I was pleasantly surprised with the quality since I really only bought them for their looks. (I'm a bit shallow when it comes to scissors sometimes). The finish is nice, the color is bright and pretty and the cutwork in the handle design is nice and smooth.These come in an array of beautiful colors so I'm really happy to have found a unique gift that is reasonably priced and of a quality I'm proud to give to my sewing/yearning friends.

Been using these for a few years now. They still work beautifully though the purple is flaking off a bit. I am quite happy with this purchase. The little fake leather case it came in is still holding up well and helps me not accidentally stab myself. Yay! (I'm quite clutzy with sharp things :( )A warning to lefties though: I randomly tried to use these left handed and they don't work at all. So only purchase if you're right handed.

Great and adorable! These are tiny and I was expecting something different ( due to my inexperience) but I was pleasantly surprised! Beautiful almost gothic castle like little scissors! <3

I ordered the purple scissors. They do not look like the picture. The color isn't as dark, and it's applied in an ombre pattern instead of a solid color. I'm returning them because I don't like the look. They seem good quality though.

small, icky, trashy, uncomfortable - I thought these would be sort of old-fashioned embroidery scissors but they just look like imported cheap stuff

Adorable, sharp blades, beautiful shade of purple, fit perfectly in my hands, love, love, love them.
