I bought this to replace an old one that was missing a few sections. It's not as compact, but the build quality is superior to what I had. The steaming capacity is generous. It works well.

For my uses, this nifty little steamer worked to perfection. You’ll need a fairly deep pan (or possibly a domed lid), but otherwise it’s a nice doodad to have around the kitchen. Bonus points for ease of cleaning.

Purchased this to throw out my old one which was metal. However, I found that it wouldn't fit into the pots that I typically used in the past. Had to move to wider ones. The quality is excellent!

Well I just got this and used it immediately. I found it too tight for a regular pot so I used it in my big electric wok. This steamer opened all the way and my small potatoes steamed so well. So far so good! Hope it stands the test of time?

I love this steamer! I've used metal steamers for years, they are OK, but come apart easily and once they're bent they never quite work the same. This one is easy to put back together if one of the leaves comes off. It can't melt unless you let your pot boil dry.

This is a well made steamer basket. The material is durable & easy to clean. This has rubber-like feet to avoid scratching cookware.UPDATE ——- The legs on this steamer basket melted after used 3 times. I didn’t see or read anything that stated what temperature to use this on.I wouldn’t buy again & I would not recommend anyone to buy this.

Like others reported, melted. Odd that a steamer would melt. Seems to defeat the purpose of a steamer.

It woks okay but in order to remove it safely the attached Handle could be a bit longer so one doesn’t get burned
