It would not work with my opener, my fault I suppose my opener does not have a learn button

OEM has no business charging what they do for stock remotes. This one is reasonably priced and works great.Beware, for Liftma$ter 8500, the learn button on the opener unit is only for setting the door height. The learn button to program the remote is on the wall control pad. Once I realized that, pairing took seconds. Range is adequate for my purposes.

I used this product to open and close a garage door equiped with a Chamberlain 1/2 HP Liftmaster opener. The unit was very easy to program. It opens the door easily from the street, closing the door is another story but I had the same difficulty closing the door with the original remote which was stolen from my car.

What a piece of crap. Set it up Sunday afternoon and it worked fine. Worked Monday morning. Didn’t work by Monday night. Light came on but it wouldn’t open or close the door anymore. Straight into the trash.

The product shipped quickly and was easy to program. I would definitely purchase this product again.
