The blocks are 12 1/2" by 12 1/2" so I suspect the round lines would be larger than 4" when four blocks are joined. That's the best answer I can give you not having a set with the round gridded lines. **Q: What are the dimensions of the individual block** A: They are about 12 3/4 inches at the longest part and they interlock so two together would be about 24 inches. Used old foam blocks for years that were different shapes and it used to take ages to lay them out plus they took up a lot of storage room. The Knitiq blocks click together quickly and once a garment is pinned out I can move the whole thing, even stand it upright against a wall and start blocking another piece. Love them and I wish I’d bought them years ago. I have used them nearly every day since I got them and my huge stash of unblocked items has been turned into wearable items. When not in use the 3 sets will fit into a space 12x12x27 inches where my old foam filled 2 of the big striped laundry bags.
