CompM4 Red Dot Reflex Sight No Mount - 2 MOA

Aimpont's are simple, that's what they were built for. I have had several, and I use them professionally. They are tough, they don't care if they get scratched up or wet or a little dirty. The best thing about the M4's is the battery life. You can just turn them on during shifts, leave them on, and replace the battery annually and that's all you have to worry about because you only used about half the battery at most. The battery (a common AA) lasts for an extremely long time in these sights. There is no magnification (which is a common departmental requirement) so the sight co-witnesses with iron sights whether they are a backup or always up. You can shoot both eyes open and the target acquisition speed is much faster than scopes or iron sights. They aren't sniper sights, they are designed primarily for CQB and dynamic high intensity combat. The only downside is the cost. However, if this is the primary sight you are trusting to be there for you when your life is on the line, then it is worth the investment. If you just shoot casually, you won't be disappointed either, but you might find less expensive options that fill the bill. These sights are dirt simple, 100% reliable, robust, and they are super easy to use under stress. Aimpoint M4's are simply the best, look no further.
