Mouse Terminator
Worst year for mice in the 30 years I've lived here. I've fed several types of mouse poison to the little vermin and I honestly believe they're getting stoned and returning for more.Since I set out the 6 traps and baited with peanut butter, I've caught one in each trap EVERY day. Easy to set is an understatement, much cleaner than the poison or traditional traps plus...I just read they have a lifetime warranty....(say what)I'm thinking about buying some more before the price goes up.Definitely recommended.

Instant death. You're reading this to find out if it works. I was skeptical too. It kills instantly.
You can't live in a New York City apartment building, even a fancy one, without a mouse eventually getting in. I spotted a mouse the other night in my kitchen. I had mice back when I lived in a first floor Brooklyn apartment, and I used a variety of traps. I came to Amazon to buy more of the one trap that once worked for me. However, the items wouldn't arrive for a week, which is a long time for mice to make themselves at home and breed. So I read a ton of reviews of traps with 2 day shipping. The Famiry mouse trap and another brand were well reviewed. I ordered them both with 2 day shipping. When they arrived, I baited both brands of mousetraps with Jif peanut butter and Reese's peanut butter cups. 2 nights later and SNAP! I went into the kitchen and found a mouse in the Famiry trap, and it was dead still. The trap was facing the corner, but it had sprung closed so hard that it must have flipped itself and the mouse over and landed in the other direction. The mouse died instantly. Thanks to your reviews, I found this effective and more humane killing machine.

Not sensitive enough, for bigger mice maybe?
Felt like these worked great in theory but the plate that the mouse has to stand on was not sensitive enough. I mean maybe if you have rats, or giant mice then maybe you will catch them in it, but the mice I ended up catching with a different device were small enough to eat all the peanut butter and cheese out of these without triggering it.Update - I continue to get messages from amazon saying the company is trying to delete my review. Not sure why amazon has to keep telling me..but if the company wants to reach out to me to rectify my issue instead of trying to delete things behind users backs that would be great.

Worked very quickly
I had a field mouse in my house due to construction on my street. I bought those wooden old fashioned traps and put peanut butter on it two nights in a row and it failed. The mouse ate it all up, laughed at that pathetic mousetrap and walked away. So I bought these mousetraps with the teeth, put peanut butter in that little piece that comes out of the bottom and set it for the night. The next morning I checked the trap and it was caught. It didn't even have a chance to eat any of that peanut butter. Looks like i'm the one laughing now lol. What I really like is that you can clean them and reuse them. I highly recommend these traps.

They call me the mouse slayer
I have never had the displeasure of having to catch mice until recently. I caught 7 house mice so far. At first I was throwing the entire trap away but learned reusing them didn't deter these disgusting lil critters. Though I often find myself screaming at the top of my lungs while trying to dispose of them, I haven't had to actually touch the mice and with every mouse I feel just a tad bit braver. I used fancy peanut butter so that they have a decent last meal. I even got a twofer once. I now reluctantly refer to myself as the mouse slayer. I hope to retire this name soon.

THESE ARE THE MOUSE TRAPS YOU WANT
I looked for HOURS on Amazon, comparing different mouse traps of which there are many! I finally decided I would try these. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I literally put one down and caught a mouse 5 minutes later. The design is clever, the mechanism is superior, and even for someone like me who's not good at things like this, they were easy to use. They're very safe to load, I used to peanut butter and recommend that because the mouse has to linger. It is a dinner rather than cheese snack which they can grab & go. Don't look any further, these are what you want. They are high quality and got rid of the mice so quickly we didn't need them for more than 10 days.Everything I read said the one mistake people make is not having enough traps. I bought two orders. And that did the trick. It is also recommended that you place them perpendicular to the wall or the cupboard wall. Also, don't forget to make sure your pets are protected from accidently touching them. We made barricades with books and other items. It mystifies me that the approval rating is not 100%. If these traps don't work well for you , you're doing something wrong because it's not the trap.

effective trap
I've been very pleased with these traps. They've been effective in trapping rodents around our house. Over a few weeks, we've caught 5 moles (and unfortunately, one bird). My favorite part of the trap is the removable bait cup. I've never seen this feature before, and it makes it easy to set up using peanut butter and also very easy to clean. My only slight reservation about the traps and the reason for removing one star is that when resetting the traps, it sometimes takes multiple tries to get a trap to stay open/engaged. I'm not positive that this will cause an issue with the traps long-term, but it's been mildly annoying. But even with that reservation, I've been very happy with the traps.

efficient but not durable
This is an update to a five star review I previously submitted. These traps did catch mice, and were safe and easy to use. However, everyone of them stopped working (could not be reset) after just one or two successful catches. So, I may buy them again, as I really appreciate the design, but I will do so knowing these traps have a short working life.

Excellent
We live on an estate & no idea where these mice are coming from but noticed a couple of them in the garden. We put bread out for the birds most days, as we have a lot of birds in the area. These traps are excellent & really do work, Within 10 minutes of putting these out in our garden 2 of the traps had caught mice, overnight another 6.I would highly recommend these traps to anyone with problems with mice,

Easy to use and effective
Easy to use, clean, and reuse and most definitely effective- have caught 12 mice since I received these. Best feature is the little cup used to put bait (I use peanut butter) in as there is no worry about accidentally getting your fingers snapped. One star downgrade because out of the six I received, one of the plastic pieces that holds the trap opened snapped and is now unusable.

Not sensitive enough
Mouse trap is not sensitive enough, smaller mice just eat the peanut butter out of the well in the trap without setting them off, I have only caught 1 mouse in the 6 traps bought, the other five haven't caught anything yet the bait gets eaten.Avoid buying, little nipper ones are much more reliable although tricker to reset.
