Lockly Secure Link Wi-Fi Hub - Control Your Lockly Smart Lock from Anywhere with Real-time Notifications and Voice Control

This unit has two separate pieces, the power supply (the cube) and the module (plugs into the cube via USB style connection). The unit works great and provides the bridge between the Bluetooth lock and an internet router via Wi-Fi. It was easy to set up using a free downloaded app. I had a renter steal one of these from the outlet it was plugged into. I am assuming they took for the right-angle USB power adapter since it would be of no use unless you have a smart lock to use it with. UPDATE, I added a lockable outlet cover/box over the outlet with the unit inside. This has kept renters from taking it.

Easy to install and get setup. If you setup your lock before purchasing this, factory reset your door lock before trying to connect this and setup will go flawlessly.

I set this up once, over two years ago. Never had to mess with it again. I now have access to the lock from anywhere.

The instructions seem simple but the amount of time it took me to actually set this up with the lock took too long. I had to stop one day because I got frustrated. The lock was not detecting the wifi device or vise versa. I updated firmware on the lock but no deal. I dont know how I finally for it to sync but once it was hooked up it works perfect. The lock can be opened from anywhere.

This Lockly Secure Hub works great. Setup was simple, as was my Alexa integration. The Lockly Secure Hub is within 10ft from my front door lock, but it is 15ft+ away from the nearest router and/or mesh point. If you have an Xfinity Modem/WiFi Router combo, a cheap Belkin router, or even the Nighthawk routers, you'll definitely want to keep the distance under 10ft (I guarantee you a $300+ Nighthawk isn't going to give you much better range). If you can, get an Eero or AmpliFiHD mesh network. Not only will it increase the distance you can place your Lockly Secure Hub, but it'll fix a lot of other WiFi issues in your home, as well.I am definitely a life fan of Lockly after using their smart door lock and hub.

This product is used for the purpose of utilizing your wifi enabled door lock so that you can unlock/lock your door from anywhere. Comes in real handy when I don't want to fumble for my keys at the end of the night I can just tell my home control (Alexa or hey google) to unlock the door.
