Reduced time, increased effort, ruggedness
Cut almost 20 minuites off time to swim 1.2 mile cardio workout, 1hr 22-3m to 1h 2-3m.3 times a week. Had swim fin gloves they fell apart in 1-1/2 months, these will probably last this 84 year old man until I drop my working tools.

Feels natural
I've used hand paddles before and didn't like them, but the Vortex Evolution Hand Paddles are very nice. They are comfortable and feel natural. Swimming without them is like biking in a low gear while using them is like biking in a high gear. It really allows me to focus on my form. Of all the swimming apparatus I have for training, this is my favorite.

Love these paddles
Comfortably adjusts to your hand. You can pick and choose the strap pattern that works for you. Promotes correct stroke. Size is just right for an average adult woman

Fun and effective
I was the talk of the river! We went for a group tubing trip and everyone on the river got a great kick out of watching me paddle the tube around. I ended up motoring a bunch of my friend's flotilla's away from obstacles and got a good workout. I don't LOVE the rubber tubing method for attaching them to your hands. Maybe a velcro strap would work better? But the tubing does give you lots of customizable options!

Great paddles
I bought these after my much larger paddles that I had for 15 years just became too much for this senior's arms. Perfect size with adjustable rubber "bands" to fit almost any lap swimmer's preference. Highly recommend.
