The tight-sealing lid is dependable and has never leaked, and the solid construction of the bottle means it won't get crushed in my pack. Since it is a smaller size, you could use this to carry concentrated drink mixes or smoothies, or as a dedicated doggy water bottle. The only downside might be that the lid has no tether like the more expensive and colorful Nalgenes, but that isn't a deal breaker for me.
