Ywcking Charger for Laptop

Ordered one of these a month or so ago and wasn’t 100% happy with it, however, the team contacted me and provided me with a brand new charging cable which shows their passion and drive to want to provide a good quality product and their care for their customers. The cable is fast to charge and easy to use- I personally don’t transport it around in case I bend the wires and break it so I use it as my main charger at home. I recommend this product as both a back-up or even main charger, and it’s not too expensive- I do think the sellers are really helpful and polite too!

This was my second attempt to purchase a replacement charger and first impressions were not brilliant: although it successfully charged my Pro I had to be terribly careful not to disturb anything once I had managed to get an adequate connection or it stopped charging. I put up with it because I was desperate: replacement chargers from the original company are hugely expensive and have absolutely terrible reviews, and close inspection of the photos of all the other chargers I could find suggested that they were actually the same make as the first charger I purchased - which failed in disturbing fashion (involving smoke) on first use. After a week or so, I realised that the problem was that the power cord cable did not make good contact with the adapter box. I found a similar power cord cable from an unused appliance with the same current rating which fitted much more snugly... and the charger has worked perfectly ever since. My conclusion is that this charger - and quite possibly the first one I purchased - are let down by scrimping on the quality of the power cord cable.

The power supply itself has a label with power rating of 4.0A at 15V which would make it 60W according to Ohms law. However, I have been using the charger for a couple of weeks now and seems to work well. Previous third party chargers have struggled to actually charge the laptop while it is in use. This one has not suffered with that issue. Although I do not spend all my time playing fortnite which will stress CPU and graphics, sucking more power.

The charger works fine so far, no issues.However...The IEC C7 (Figure 8) Socket Power Lead that comes with the charger is loose and ill-fitting.It is more than likely to break the adapter and is frankly dangerous.I tried it with the official windows adapter and it caused a spark and humming noise when turned on.I tried it on 2 of my printers (not connected to the mains), loose and doesn't push all the way in.I assume the power cable fits something, but nothing I own that uses a figure 8 cable that's for sure.As per the title, spend £3-4 and get a separate figure 8 cable to go with this and it's still a good deal.But whatever you do, don't try and use it with a loose power cable, you'll just break it and risk starting a fire.

This is a great product and it works better than the original surface book charger. The original charger got too hot but this is perfect. The original charger was a ripoff so I gave this a go and very happy. Charges the laptop perfectly.

Bought for use with surface pro 6. Charges the battery well but seems to cause some kind of malfunction where the touch screen becomes unresponsive. Not very handy when you need to draw while plugged in.

I carry this around so that the supplied charger can remain plugged in at home

I own a Surfacebook 1. Bought this as my original charger stopped working. This product DOES NOT charge my laptop, however, it allows me to use it plugged in.
