These are fantastic for my above-ground pool. I have a sand filter, but I use micro-fiber filter balls instead. The combination of the two is unreal. I never had algae build up all summer.

**Mid-Summer Update** Okay I wanted to drop back in and update my review because my exuberance over this product has been beaten into submission. Although the product has done a fantastic job of keeping our pool water clear, it has also filled our pool with an outrageous amount of copper. We've tested off the charts and this chlorine is the only variable that has changed. What has happened since then is multiple partial drains, several treatments of metal out and we still have too much copper and a heck of a time getting the water balanced. So, in conclusion, I won't be buying this product anymore and will be redoubling my efforts to learn to do pool balancing the right way. I know someday I will get this right, but these 5-in-1 tabs, for us, just caused more headache. So if you DO decide to use this product, keep a close eye on your measurements, especially copper. **First Review Below** I'm not typically amazed by products, but this one has my attention. We've owned a house with a pool for 3 years now. The first year, we were learning and did okay keeping the pool clean. The second year we struggled and fought algae and cloudiness all year. I don't have a dollar figure, but we dumped a bunch of $$ in chemicals in the pool and only towards the end of the season really felt like it was in good shape. Over the winter I started planning a new routine. I tried several local chlorine tabs and shock and none of them were outstanding and all were expensive. So this winter I stocked up with new products - I bought 4 new filters, a Doheneys pool starting kit, a nice pool brush and the largest container of Robelle 5-in-1 they sold. We started out with the old filters in and the starting kit and got most of the funk out of the pool. We used the shock and the algaecide from the opening kit and got it fairly clear. After reading reviews, I decided to put a mix of tabs in the chlorinator. I'm putting 10 per week right now, 1/2 5-in-1 and 1/2 regular tri-chlor tabs. I must say that the pool has stayed PERFECT so far and we have switched over to the new filters. The water is clear and there are no algae blooms. This is a far cry from last year. The chemical levels are right on. I imagine as spring turns into summer, I might have to change the number of tabs per week or the percentage of each type of tab, but for now I am impressed and will be buying another tub to make sure I don't run out. If you've struggled with pool maintenance, give these tabs a shot and couple them with a regular maintenance routine.

After lots of research and reading reviews, started using the Robelle 5 in 1 tabs last year in my 16 x 36 inground pool. The reviews were correct! Once the pool water is balanced out the first time early in the year, these tabs seriously do the work to maintain the water for the rest of the season. Besides the tabs and maybe some shock, I didn't have to buy any additional chemicals July, Aug or Sept. These aren't cheap (No tabs are anymore) but I really think they save you $$$ in the long run.

I have used these tablets for years - it's convenient to have multiple chems included in the tabs that you would otherwise need to purchase and treat your pool w/ via addt'l cost/effort.

This product is best chlorine I have used in 20 years .

These tablets keep my pool clean and clear year round. I add a few tablets to my floater and my pool stays perfect.

Not usually a big review person but I felt compelled to write one for this product. Usually, I buy whatever I can get for the cheapest price possible but this year when supplies were short I grabbed a bucket of these to make sure I had some chlorine stocked up for the summer months. It turned out to be one of the best purchases I have ever made. I put these babies in my chlorinator and I barely have to do anything else to take care of the pool. Even if I forget to fill up the chlorinator for a couple of days the water stays perfect. I used to dread taking care of the pool so much that I was considering hiring a pool guy. Now I can take care of it with minimal work. These tablets are a game-changer. I highly recommend this product.
