Great engraver
Love it. Engraved on hard steel and tools. Easy to control and very easy to use

While you can adjust the air output, I’d suggest something else if you’re working with something extremely delicate

Engraver works.
The engraver work very well. It calls for oil and you have to fill the hose and not the tool. This leaves a guessing game on how much you have added. The other issue is that it doesn't start every time, but tap the tip and it works great.

I was skeptical
I wasn’t sure about this engraver I finally decided to buy one and I didn’t want a junk one. If you’re looking to mark tools this is for you. The selective speeds are not as selectable as I’d like but for outing initials etc on tools cannot be beat. Crisp clear engraves every time. Comes with an extra tip and tools to change it! And I love the varying case everything fits perfectly.

Bad out of the box
I received this product, but did not need to use it for a couple of months. Today I got it out of the box and hooked it up and it did not work. I fiddled with it and change the Tips and still no luck. Unfortunately it is past the return window, and I will have to order another one. Most likely from a different brand.

NOT 1/4" NPT fitting threads.
If you use SAE air fittings other than the one that comes with this tool, good luck sealing the threads. The hose fitting threads are straight, not tapered like pipe threads. The fitting installed has to be heated to remove and change. This requires removing the fitting from the hose or you will melt the hose. 1/4" NPT air fittings will not seal without lots of thread tape or some sort of hardening thread sealer (loctite 545 worked for me).It takes a little tap to coax it into engrave mode but once started it works fine. 5 settings are marked but dont expect it to run lower than 3, because it won't. 2-3 cc of tool oil (as instructed) is waaay too much and makes a huge mess. Not sure how to take apart to change the tip when needed.

Make sure you check to see if it works when you get it. Mine did not work straight out of the box
I’ve bought two of these pens now. used the first one all the way up till today open up my spare and it doesn’t even work. Highly upset, five days past the date I can return it. Just make sure you try it out when you get it. Are use mine to chisel out stone put in names addresses. Don’t get me wrong I love the first one but the second one total junk.
