Poor quality. Not what is shown
The item that is being displayed is not the same one sold. The lever doesn't have a brass screw assembly and doesn’t lock down enough to keep it in a fixed position. My lever bolt broke off. Also the spring loaded set bolt isn’t what is in the picture. The picture shows a metal one but is plastic. Mine was even inserted crooked. This company also tried to get me to drop my complaint and then I would get my money back. The return address they provided also doesn’t appear on google maps. I would stay away from this tool and this company.

Definitely not a “Roofus”
This item was a cheap version of the actual “Roofus” item. The unit was about half the price but would not lock into a position other than 90 degrees and the ruler portion was not as thick as the Roofus allowing the ruler to bend. The actual Roofus is built much more durable and locks perfectly. Save your money and purchase the actual Roofus which comes with a warranty. I wish I had done that first and not last.

Chinese garbage
Came with NO instructions and the “tightening lever” didn’t work. I will buy it again from another vendor… hopefully American made.

Product is (F*) , Take American consumer seriously
This product looks like replica of Similar US made products. The aluminum very poorly finished. The laser marking very pale, could not read it in wood shop. The set screws are not even, the unit was not finished by metal finish. It was full of scratches . That was shipped from China in a smashed box and opened plastic bag. Amazon USA division needs to take American consumers seriously.

It Sucks!!!!
It is a piece of junk! The so called locking lever doesn't lock. As posted before, there are no instructions and probably wouldn't even matter if they sent any, any way. It's not even worth 2 dollars, let alone the $25 plus that I paid. Should have known since it was an ad on FB.
