Airline Tail Colours Paperback – March 19, 2012

Even though a commendable effort, the author needs to provide the reader with more valuable for the investment. The current edition does not meet the criteria to be referred as a book. It resembles more a pamphlet. Looking forward to an updated edition that includes more detailed information (expanded coverage) about the featured airlines. Perhaps the authors should include a section with tails of airlines that went out of business and a section with current airlines. Alternatively the author may organize them by decade. I would be unlikely to purchase this product again unless improvements are made that elevate the quality of the book

Good book with lots of airlines. Is a little overwhelming sometimes to try & find the correct one because of that but I guess that will happen if you want one with a great variety listed.

Good reference book but can't id one or 2 aircraft tails which are not listed in book. Am using 20X60 Zeiss imaged stabilized binocs. Can id aircraft flying above 10,000 ft.

Small pocket size guide with nice colour photos of tails of 600 of the world's leading passenger, cargo and specialist airlines, good introduction and key good clear counties/registration letters and registrestriation letter/countries. My only dislikes are some of the tail colours have changed a few years before and are listed as alternative, airlines name has changed a couple of years before publishing date, some airlines which haves ceased operations are included again a few years before the publication date. My only other dislike of the this book is the airlines not listed in alphabetical order just a section marked with the first letter of the name of the airlines a good example of this is Air Canada , Air Canada Jazz & Air Canada Rouge are not listed on the same page as I would have expected. Overall as a concept this this book is handy addition for anyone interested in aviation if the author made the changes I have suggested I have suggested it would make an excellent guide.

Bought for Father’s Day gift for my frail & poor sighted dad, who is absolutely airplane mad. The pictures are clear & up to date. Dad loves this book due to it having very little writing but enjoys find the tail pictures of planes at our local airport, which I can then research types online for him. It’s a nice activity we can share together 😊

Informative handbook for commercial airline enthusiast.

Purchased for plane mad 15 year old stepson but I enjoyed looking at it too. We both love identifying planes when we are travelling so this is a great book.
