Comfortable and secure.
This wig grip works great to keep your wig in place. For the first time, my wig is comfortable, feels snug and secure, is less itchy, and I don't have to constantly worry about it slipping. I've heard people say they forget they're wearing their wig, and I could never imagine that being possible for me. I get it now. I went to a wig salon last month, and this style of wig grip is what they used during my fitting. I can see why. Love it!For reference, I am on the other side of cancer, but my hair never filled in. I do have hair, but it is very thin and fine. I wear this wig grip over my clean bio hair without any other head covering, and it hasn't slipped yet. I don't use glue, but my wig is a 5x5 glueless cap construction. I also have not experienced any issues with the velcro catching on anything, and the grip does not add a bump or cause the wig to lift anywhere. I wear is behind my hairline - more on top than at the front (that is where the wig consultant placed it during my appointment). The last thing I will say is that I appreciate how the nude color helps make the part look more realistic. However, the grip is not wide enough to give you more than its width of "scalp" without something else on your head, or taped or sewn into the wig. I will be looking for a solution, but for now, the security is a huge improvement and the part on my wig does look more realistic. It would be amazing if the manufacturer came up with a grip that had an extended section attached to place under the part!

Why did i wait so long?!!!
I've been losing my hair steadily for 2 years. Some auto-immune thing. Nothing helped, so i dug into my stash of very cool wigs, and started wearing them again. Then, they were for fun. Now, it's a necessity and i enjoy them. My hair was always fine. So the thinning and bare spots had to be covered. I saw these several years ago, but it didn't seem like a big deal. I finally bought a few, and i'm getting more.I can't figure out the magic of how they worked, but they work fantastically. I had been doing the tedious cap and bobby pin thing. The pins actually took more hair with them. Time-consuming, and i'm usually in a rush. There's barely anything around the perimeter of my head for pins to grasp onto, The pins would slide around after a few hours and pull from the wig occasionally. I detest the whole bobby pin routine if I have no hair to pin them to.I tried these on as soon as I got them. Soft and smooth. It went on quickly. There's no learning curve. I wet the area i was placing it on, as someone suggested. It gripped right away, felt great, and stayed in place all day with the velcro adjustment. Keeping my wig in place the entire time. No headache. I don't even think about how my hair looked and checking it as the day went on, like I usually did.The velcro is strong. The band is as snug (or not) as I want it. I got the nude. But i don't think it really matters about the color because my wigs are part-less and easy to style. The gripper is easily moved to adjust where you want it.It adds a lot to your confidence if you're self-conscious or not used to wearing wigs. I think they're perfect for those undergoing chemo. It does not slip at all on the bald areas. I haven't figured out how it grips the head and the wig..... but who cares? I'm ordering more. I tried it with scarves and headwraps that slip because of my small head and the hair loss patches. They grip great and the scarves look great.I don't know if all the brands of these wig/scarf grips are as good. I'm just sticking with what i know works. These are a blessing.

good strap
I use a wig-grip headband under my wigs, and it really does wonders. It’s comfortable, soft, and makes a noticeable difference in preventing slipping—even on windy days. I’ve found it far more effective than just clips or silicone bands

Comfortable and effective.
Petite wigs are my best size but I cannot find them in my preferred styles. Therefore my wigs are constantly slipping forward, causing me to tug from the back. Not a nice look on the golf course! This headband has solved the problem. The back of the wig stays down on my neck and the front stays where I put it. It was a good purchase.

Didn't work like I expected
The media could not be loaded. At first glance this is a great idea. Its supposed to help keep your wig from slipping. I've seen other types and thought I'd give it a try. It's made well, good quality fabric. It's a type of velvet with a velcro closure. There's plenty of adjustment size with the velcro strip. It has a tag that's sewn on to tell you where to position it. You're supposed to wear it over your cap. So I got mine in place and tightened it as much as I could. The wig fit over it without it being too snug or painful. It wasn't uncomfortable to wear. The resistance to heat was good considering how hot it was out side. It didn't cause me to sweat. So the material must also be breathable. But after wearing it a short amount of time it started slipping. It caused my wig to fall backward. Thankfully I could feel it and was able to fix it before too many people noticed. It was embarrassing. And I was really disappointed that this product didn't work. The wig actually stays better without it. So no I wouldn't recommend this. The positives are the quality of how the band is made. And getting 2 for the price gives some value to your money.

The best wig bands that I have found.
The bands have a longer strip of Velcro than others making them more comfortable and more durable. This also helps to prevent hair from getting caught/tangled in the Velcro. The bands stay in place… they don't slip or move. They anchor my wig in place so it doesn’t slip or move and the wig is much more comfortable to wear because the itchy part of the wig rests on the band and not my skin.
